A friend and I were playing a 2v2 placement match as a team. This was our first game. We get a couple of people, one with a screen name something like killdotcom or something like that. I am zerg and my partner is protoss. The opponent are protoss and terran. This killdotcom guy probe rushes my partner. Her probes got killed but she got one away. I was able to get some lings out to kill the attacking probes. Once that was settled they tried a few weak rushes that we stomped easily. Then this kill guy says publicly something like "I just gave up and tried to probe rush because I saw that your guys were favored to beat us." I was thinking, yeah, whatever. That makes no sense. So do you only play people that you are favored against? I did not say it though. After a few more minutes I had expanded and gotten out a small group of roaches and mutas. I sent the mutas in to harass his minerals. As soon as I started killing probes he writes "Wow...this guy really sucks". He was talking about me. He brings some stalkers to defend so I fly to the terran and start harassing him. Then he says again how much we suck as I am killing them. They try to counter attack by our ground troops hold them off easily. He writes that if he would not have probe rush then they would have totally pwned us. So we stomp them, they quit, and then he takes the effort to message me in the game to tell me yet again how much I sucked and how he would have killed both of us any day of the week. I then looked at his record and he is a low rated bronze player with about 50 games under his belt. I LoLed. | ||

Just finished a game. Blistering, I saw random. I begrudgingly send my first built SCV to scout and find a 6 pool. He arrives to find me walled off and says "terran op. whyy ur mom a slut?" then quits. | ||

then the guy pms me after the match, says GG, and then REALLY tries to help with what I should have tried. he was speaking nonsense, not really knowing zerg at all, but it was a warm, fuzzy feeling; a terran who really wants to help after beating me. i had to apologize for bm-quitting, and wished for more kind, adult players.  it was very unexpected. | ||

HIM: This is only the second hack I have seen in SC2 quits The best part is he was in the FFA i played right before that one, and he just turtled up with cannons everywhere because the other 3 players spawned on the other side of the map | ||

Protoss: annoying ass zergs Protoss: that play like scrubs Protoss has left the game. I checked the unit counts, he didn't have more than 25 probes until AFTER the failed attack, while I was above 40 drones on 2 bases for most of the game. | ||

I got a good flank as your army was busy with the roaches so positioning really brought that battle out to how it was. Opponent: wutever noob, fkin op zerg. all u do is a move and win Me: Well... Maybe if you scouted the hidden spire with Hellions or Reapers it might've helped make your turret timing a lot better rather than me take out like 20 of your miners. Then he makes a party invites me and creates a game on xel naga. And I think to myself, well, I don't know how to do 15 nex on this map so why not go for a 3 gate DT build? So I did. He never sent a drone to my base. Almost 7 (I think) minutes into the game there was an overlord hovering over the edge of my base, right beside my dark shrine, where it was warping in. I thought oh shit, it's over he's gonna see it. So it finishes, I rape the d on my keyboard and my heart starts to pound. I also start setting up my expansion. As my DTs crawled across the map I thought, holy shit this map is big, should've set up a proxy pylon. Buttttt, I sneak 2 DTs in his base, 1 DT at his nat, vvshhh, one drone, vvshhhh, two drones, vvshh 3, vvssh, vvssh.... 15 drones.... As he's morphing his overseers I manage to focus fire down his hydra den AND his pool before he can bring it forward. At this moment I'm moving in 10+ zealots and a few sentries because he has a huge sling army. Which is mostly in his base now. So I force field the ramp. And kill his queen drones hatch and half his ling army. And I snipe his overseer as well. .... has left the game! I message him: "?" "This player is not available at this moment" Ragequitblock. You know those scenes from Amelie where they experience euphoria as the screen fades to white? That's how I felt. | ||
