Because it seems that the client actually checks the validity of the mail (and the server responding to that with all the necessary information) the moment you ask for the password bar.
The only weird thing is that it gives you the password bar if it's wrong, something went wrong there.
If you don't believe me, just type in some random stuff with a @ and ".com" in, and you will always get it.

Not true for a lot of people at all, no matter how many times you logout/restart computer you always get an error involving the game queue when you try to join a game.

I just tried again and got 3 games in in a row.. seems the matchmaking works but i am stuck at 0 placement matches.

You start from 2 more placement required, then 1,0,-1,-2 when you hit -3 you are ranked... It's a known issue

I had the Already in Queue error a couple hours back for hours, but it cleared up a bit. matchmaking still dies randomly, but it tends to find games more often for me now and i haven't had an error in about 4 games. 2 of which i lost cause of drops. So it's still not exactly stable.

Custom games STILL DO NOT WORK for me. I doubt all the Blizzard dev team are at the office yet. We'll have to wait until later in the day for a fix.

im able to hit the matchmaking button....but itll never find me a game...its always just "expanding search"...even for like 1 hour...this happening to anyone else? (Custom games fail to load...ill hit join game and itll never enter the lobby )

It says I have 2 placement matches, I completed 2 placement matches, and then it didn't put me in a division so I played 1 more to see if that 3rd game would place me, it didn't place me and now it says I have -1 placement matches. Anyone else getting that same problem?

Blizzard Europe only hosts the servers, they don't care about development, they are waiting for the US team to fix the game before going live........
