Ok that makes some sense but as the game works ok for some of the NA players, why can't they just start the servers and then wait for blizz hq to fix them.

Because Blizzard doesn't care about EU players, or maybe because EU is waiting for US Authorization.

It seems that things are starting to clear on the US servers, right? I really hope they see this and go ahead and open Europe servers... I had really looked forward to an all-nighter and my friend was rdy for 2v2 too... such a shame if we can't play soon!

I understand this is a beta so I'm not complaining too much. It's just this wait, it's slowly killing me. It's going to end in like 11 days and half of this time I'm going to be out of town. Then I'm able to play the game for a week after the release before I'm leaving the country for a month. Slowly killing me I tell you!

I got one EU and one US starcraft account. I cannot login on either, what is up with that? Shouldn't I be able to login with my US account at least? Right when I start my starcraft up it says down for maintenance?
Do I need to change some file to play on US servers since I'm from Europe and dled from Europe servers ?

You need a US client for the US account. I can login with my account, but I can't join any games.
