(Custom games fail to load...ill hit join game and itll never enter the lobby ) I'm having this same issue. Does anyone know a fix/reason? Quit the game and w8 for 30 minutes or so. It will get you of the search. Worked for me. Other people say being invited into game by someone may help. Just dont hit search again once you have it available.

I don't get it, why would Blizzard start Phase 2 when there are still these huge problems that need to be fixed...

Because they DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THEM....
This is what beta is for...it's basically debugging. I believe they need probably a 12-24 hour maintenance down period to fix most of these bugs...just taking them a while to identify all of these small bugs. Remember, a major Soft/Hardware change was implemented over the down period.
Wait a week, then start whining if it's still messed up.

it didn't work for me for a while but now it's working every game. i even got through the placement matches which didn't work at first either. Weird..

Thats the reason for the beta. To fix huge problems like this before the game is released.

They've been tweaking with the servers, reworking some parts of the game. That's why they are having a phase 2, to check if everything is running smoothly and fix problems if it isn't. Phase 2 isn't really about balancing the game, its more of a stress test for the servers. They don't want this same thing happening on release date.

I personally played in many, including both WC3 betas (which were super smooth on Bnet for at least 3 months before release).. and just recently, even League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth, hell even Bloodline Champions all had a solid platform for their lobby/etc.. (Yes, i was in LoL and HoN beta early last year, like may 2009, not recently.. therefor I know what the early beta's were like)
I dont think this is the typical "beta with bugs".. Maybe the first month or two, sure, but this is now month FIVE and still quite buggy, if not even moreso than before.

Yeah no way are they interested in making balance changes this late. Phase 2 is surely to get the servers prepped.

Heh she may, it just locked her out for trying to login too many times. Im glad it doesn't do that for the gametime error because I swear I'm trying to get online every 5 minutes or so.
