I already had my mind set on a Razer mouse... Don't think it will be the SC2 one though. The imperator or death adder will do.
The headset looks pretty cool, but the price tag is a bit too hefty for me. My turtle beach x1's work just fine.
The keyboard on the other hand, minus all the under glow and apm glow looks promising. I may give this one a try over all the other products. I hope we get some user reviews on them asap.
Overall, what can I say, its either gonna be a hit or miss.

Those look pretty stupid compared to even a G15 keyboard and their gaming line of mice. Hell, even my Microsoft intellemouse explorer from 2002 looks like it would feel better that cube.
I dont know why blizzard is marketing all these stupid products now.... oh right, they are more concerned about money then about fixing the problems with their game. (I am still bitter about no chatrooms)

for the low low price of $300+ u get all the cool lights u want!!!
|
all this wait for nothing
|
Well since no one else here seems to want them... if I get my old Razer stuff sold I will give my impressions. I just listed my old stuff on craigslists so I'm crossing my fingers. I'd like the keyboard the most.
|
Would it have been better marketing strategy to make it a gold mouse instead?
|
for $400 it better transfrom into a giant robot ;p
|
APM lighting wut. Talk about useless "features."

50g of acceleration Erm, how much is this - and can it be turned off?
|
I'm amazed by this, not only the price but the stupid SC2 logos.
Razer, you've disappointed me. Sticking to my deathadder, mousepad and laptop keyboard (which sucks).
Anyone else uses laptop keyboard?
|
Keyboards that are flat are pretty bad for RTS in general, you want one with raised keys :S.
|
I use a laptop keyboard but I am pretty nooby, and Demuslim says raised keys, maybe I will try a regular keyboard during phase 2 (not a $130 one though)
|
I use a laptop keyboard because i have a laptop and im a struggling college student lol
|
i am buying this shit
THE LIGHTS
|
wow, they're going to make a lot of money by making decent products that are flashy and ride off of sc2's popularity.
Not cool
I'm sticking with my 10$ USB keyboard with the caps lock and windows key popped off and my Logitech optical mini (WOOT).

I'm pretty sure that means the mouse wont start to skip/mess up until you accelerate it at more than 50g's, not that there's default acceleration in the mouse.

haha if thats true thats helarious that it is so high

Wow, these look absolutely terrible. When they mentioned SC2 gear I thought they would be designed around practicality for competition, but these just seem like grossly over-priced pieces of crap with a Starcraft theme.
|
I've never understood why people buy these high priced mice/keyboards, are they really that much better than the average normal priced ones?

The mice are, at least.
I literally cannot handle using normal mice now.
