Then you are wrong, the more time players train for the GOMTV matches, the worse they will play in other leagues.

and the worse they play in kespa leagues the less ratings they get hence the less money the sponsors make BUDDY

Yeah and guess who's making all these things happen. Who pays for all of this cause it sure as hell ain't you or me.

The player represent the sponsors, that's why there is teams in the first place. Of course the sponsors want the players representing them playing the best at the tournaments they pour money into.

problem is because of this, there will be no new sponsors or new competitions. fantastic.

Yeah cause if Blizzard can take on a whole government I'm sure any new sponsor would want to invest anyway.
ehh`?

I may be wrong, but doesn't eStro hold some of KeSPa's broadcasting rights? I think they at least got the rights for the ProLeague. This could put eStro out of business.

Yes the Korean sponsor companies are big, I fail to see the point of bringing up the sponsor companies in Korea have leverage in their size. Blizzard is also part of a company called Vivendi which is really a very large company as well. Yet none of these company's has ever to sponsor anything in E-sports. Isn't that what we all love and want? A big e-sports scene which is accepted by media?

Yeah, it's one of those, "LOOKS GREAT ON PAPER" moments... but we all know that doesn't always work out the way we expect it to!

And in that list there is one important company... Universal Music Group international companies: Korea

LOL. You don't seem to understand the concept of chaebols and how influential they are in Korea. Who cares how large Vivendi is. We're talking about broadcasting rights in Korea, a domestic issue. Korean conglomerate v foreign company, who do you think will win this one?

You don't seem to realise that UMG Korea is a company in Korea... It is not owned by Blizzard it is owned by Vivendi that owns Blizzard.

What are they going to do, release Starcraft 2 games in MP3?

Yes that is it...

See the bigger picture in a potential law suit that everyone claims Kespa can win downright because they are domestic...

Blizzard obviously cares more about a partner who will respect it's over-reaching IP posture than a partner who can deliver huge, well sponsored, successful leagues with top pro gamers :|

really sad for starcraft
a little part of me laughs at kespa now but the more reasonable one just fears what will become of the sc:bw community

So e-sport in korea as we know it, will end this august.

This is really exciting with the global leagues etc but also quite scary with regards to the whole issue of the current teams/players/leagues, what will happen to them? Will kespa get in the way?

Will GOMTV deliver a good league, will OGN or MBC make an agreement with GOMTV? What will the korean fans think of this?

Soo many questions :s
