Yeah, I'd rather support Blizzard Kespa making money = Bigger tournaments Blizzard making money = New games I don't understand why people are so hyped about Blizzard fucking up the esports. Are all of you here dreaming about an SC2 scene rather than the korean BW scene?

Yeah, I'd rather support Blizzard Just like Nascar makes money using Chevy's product? Or the NBA makes money using Nike's product? Kepsa bought their SCBW licenses fair and square. They are just televising the results. What is Blizzard basing its claim off of?

Yeah KeSPA is keeping esports strong w/ broodwar. They have to, that's their business model. Blizzard is butting in because they think if they kill off BW, SC2 will have less competition in korea and will be successful (through GOM). What they don't realize is that they will not be earning any PR points in korea for it, and the current esports fans will not support them, they will stand by the teams and players that they have supported for years. I never thought I would be arguing for KeSPA, and against Blizzard until Blizzard started acting like greedy dicks as we've been moving towards the release of SC2.

Especially Koreans. Asians may like western culture, but usually stick together when outside forces try to impose themselves. For example, in Japan they buy Sony. Thats just what they do. Not many xboxes there... Starcraft kind of caught on there on its own, but if Blizzard thinks Koreans are just going to gobble up release after release from them....they are sorely mistaken. Destroying SCBW in Korea may end their presence there for a long time.

Then they should start programming their own RTS because else I can't see how they can't just roll over (or bend over) and take this. It's blizzards game and it's silly to think anyone but blizzard decides who gets to do what with their game.
