Well, now's your chance! Okay, not quite... but pretty close! Ladies and gentleman, neSix and SageFantasma bring you the greatest new show on the internet: NerdCraft!
NerdCraft is an all-new stream of Starcraft II content featuring YOU! Every week my brother and I will be casting a series of matches between two teams of teamliquidians in a no-holds-barred Korean-Proleague-style battle! This thread will be for sign-ups, updates, results, and discussions.
How does the show work?
+ Show Spoiler +Every week, we will select a handful of lucky TeamLiquid.net volunteers to participate in several 1v1s to see which random team of posters packs the most punch! All matches will be streamed live so you get as much coverage of the beta as possible!
Format:
There will be two teams duking it out, each consisting of five players. The first players from each team will face off in a 1v1. The winner will go on to play the next member from the opposing team, while the losing player will be knocked out. Matches will continue until all players from either team are knocked out! At that point, the team with at least one undefeated player will be declared the victor!
First map will be Lost Temple, unless both players agree to something else. Every match the new player will pick the map after that.
What's the prize?
+ Show Spoiler +We thought about giving a cash prize, but we decided on something that's worth more than money: pride, dignity, and e-penis enlargement.
Who can participate?
+ Show Spoiler +Because we only have a key for the US Server, only players with a Starcraft II client for the US server will be able to participate.
If you sign up as an individual, you will be assigned a team randomly (with other individuals or to complement a clan). If you sign up as a clan, please be sure to list the information for all of your players so we know if we need to fill in any extra slots with individuals.

When is the show? When do we play our games?
+ Show Spoiler +The first match in the series will be casted live every Thursday at 7 PM EST. Subsequent matches are to be casted immediately afterwords.
How will I know if I've been selected to play?
+ Show Spoiler +Players who have been selected to participate will receive a PM on teamliquid telling them what the schedule of matches will be for the evening. Players will be asked to friend me on Battle.net and be following the stream so that when it's time for their match they will be ready!
If we have any no-shows, a replacement will be selected at random during the stream.

We're going to do our best to get our first stream tomorrow. Due to the quick response by so many (thanks for all of the responses, we greatly appreciate it!) I'd say expect the first streaming tomorrow!

I'm so relieved this is getting attention! A part of me was worried that it was going to be a total flop and we wouldn't have anything to show on Friday...

Unfortunately, I'm entirely new to the streaming process so I want to make sure things run smoothly for the first show. This means I'm not going to be saving the casts so they won't be on YouTube. However, if I can figure out how to get them in the on-demand section, they should be available later.

Thanks to everyone who participated today. Technical issues aside, I'd say it turned out to be a raging success! Be sure to check the second post in this thread for updates and results. A huge thanks to everyone for helping us make our first cast a success. We had a lot of fun casting the games and we hope you enjoyed watching.
We're taking a serious look at the problems that players brought up regarding our format, and we're also going to do what we can to get the stream to be a bit more stable.

VODs will be on-demand on our channel shortly after the stream has finished.
As of right now, the US servers are still down. We'll be waiting around for the next half hour or so to see if they come back up. If they do, show's on! Otherwise, I guess we'll have to postpone things until next time.
There won't be a show next week because I won't be in the country, but as long as the beta isn't in hiatus, we'll be doing the show the week after.

Hello hello hello, one and all! We've been a long time coming, and we are extremely excited to get started up yet again! All of our prior issues have been fixed, everything is finally calming down, and we are ready to go! Starting this Thursday, October 7th, NerdCraft will return!
Unfortunately, I've now used all of my allotted exclamation points for this post, so let's get down to business:
As you may have noticed, we have changed our airtime from Friday nights to Thursday nights. We decided that Thursdays will work much, much better for the both of us and hopefully for you too. We will be streaming at approximately the same time, but that will be ironed out very soon, so there is no need to worry about that.
Our last attempt at streaming was shut-down by Blizzard during the beta(my oh my, it's been far too long TL) and the players whom had signed up and were in the roster for the week of May 20th were denied their spot on NerdCraft. We did not think that was fair whatsoever! Therefore, I am going to be sending out PMs to Team CKSKN and the TeamLiquid.net Individuals letting them know that if they want to, their spot has been reserved and they can appear on our next show.
That being said, as always, spots are open for anyone and everyone to sign-up for ye ol' NerdCraft. If you are even slightly interested and are available for play, please sign up! Remember, using our guide-line will get you a better chance at being picked for the show(wink wink). All of the information regarding that is in the OP by neSix(abridged version below in spoiler).
