-Warning- I may be new here, but I still know you are all immature as shit for crying about post count.
Who cares if people self-nominate? Who the fuck doesn't want a beta key? Sorry we are not all fortunate like you who get several and just sell them on eBay. I've been opted in since day one, with 6-7 games on my battle.net account and I haven't got one.
You think post count = deserving of a key. You have no idea who the "low post counters" are, and what they have done. So how can you judge their worthiness?
Ridiculous.
but thanks for the opportunities to give people keys, even though some how I was never added to list. ;?

Okay, I said this before but how do you use a BETA key? So you have it,how do we get StarCraft 2 BETA? How do we use it? Can somebody explain to me how?

why are you worried? Do you have beta key?

you go to battle.net, register an account. then go in to account management and click "add a game". input your key. voila.

Everybody wants a beta key. I agree with you there.
Post count is used as a general indicator of level of contributions and commitment to the community. People who have given more to the community *typically* have higher post counts, while people with low post counts generally have not contributed as much.
And yes, we do have an idea who low post counters are. People with very few posts by there name who we don't recognize because they have not contributed as much. And yes, I am aware that I don't have nearly as many posts as the average contributor.
Sorry for picking your post apart, but I feel it epitomizes many of the scrubs who self-nominated themselves and are refusing to opt out of the contest because they feel they are entitled to a beta key. This website isn't a charity, it's a fucking community. I don't know why more people don't recognize that.

Okay, i don't mind if people self-nominate themselves (i did too) but i mind if people self-nominate themselves and deep inside know that they are not deserving. I REALIZED that i was not deserving and therefore opted-out. And i don't have a previous key so it would be pointless for me to sell the key on eBay.
I think that we do now who the "low post counters" are, they are the people with 0-200 posts. And for a person with 30 posts, well yea...you get what i mean. I am not judging theyre worthiness, however we can assume that these guys have a limited amount of experience (including me) and may only be participating in the site for a key.

It's pretty much in the TL.net forum rules.

Read #6. Higher post count generally gets preferential treatment because if you're trolling or being bad mannered, you'll never reach a lot of posts before getting banned.

k another quick question. When it's 10:00 PM for me, it's 11:00 PM for KST. So should I post at 10:00 PM in my timezone because then I would have posted at 11:00 PM in KST. Or should I post at 11:00 PM at my time zone?
|
4 more hours. If someone gets beta keys from this I will be kinda sad. It took me 65 pages of this thread to understand that I'm not deserving of a key. Hopefully others will too.
|
TL runs on KST, so make your timed-posts based on the TL clock in the upper right

So I'd definitely be less inclined to give you a key. This thread gives me joy since no one is getting one (though I won't jump off a bridge if someone does)

I will be furiously f5'ing this thread in about...... 3 hours and 20 minutes

Well seeing the amount that TL was given, it's highly likely.
