I actually played an archon strat against a zerg who played zergling/bainling/infestor to ultras. He's literally the better player than I am (he's a friend) and I crushed him quite hard. But it's still risky, because it starts with a lot of zealots (for saving gas) and fast teching to HTs. First engagement I only hat about 10 zealots, 2 stalkers and 6-7 HTs. Won the battle, expanded again, morphed all the HTs into archons and mixed Immortals in as i saw the first ultra. No chance for him. Don't know how it would have went if he played broodlords or mutas or hydras, fun fact is, the archon counters a lot of things quite good. And to day9s room: looks awesome. eager to see the next daily! Keep it up  | ||

Yeah, that might be true in the early to mid. But if you make it into lategame, immos and archons burst away roaches as hell. The chargelots are a good meatshield in the meantime. I still think you could develop that into a viable strategy. And the zergling/baneling/infestor strat that a lot of zergs play now gets asskicked quite good. But this is not a strategy thread, so let us drop that topic :D go day9! | ||
