But no, P or Z can't directly compete with that, but they're not really supposed to either.
There are things they can do that T can't do, as well.

Terran has mobility (medivacs, stim and concussive shell, etc), economic efficiency (mules, supply drop, the fact that marines cost nothing), and good harassment options (cloaked/uncloaked banshees, medivac drops, blue flame helions, etc).
Zerg has map awareness (creep spread, overlord spread), map control (mutalisks, speedlings, creep), flexibility (can switch entire army around by laying down 1 extra building), and a robust army composition (roaches, corruptors, broodlings made by broodlords, ultralisks)
Protoss has very strong battlefield control (force fields, collosus, storm), short reinforcement distances (proxy pylons, warp prisms), and strong macro flexibility (can chrono boost upgrades, probes, robo bays/stargates)
One race isn't stronger than any other race, they are just different

I meant in such a way that remains low-tech. It just seems like Zerg can't be nearly that aggressive on low-tech.
My question is "Can I apply this daily to my own play?" Is there a zerg equivalent to mass marine all game long? Can it be anywhere near as effective?
Or is the answer no, and I have to sit here and be mopey about it.

in ZvP it's basically the metagame to JUST make roaches, so the answer here is obviously yes. In ZvZ the same thing is true. In ZvT pure roach are is detroyed by stim bioball and heavy mech play alike, so it isn't used as much. Instead zerglings and banelings are used, and mutalisks are made to clean up afterwards (as there are no terran units that shoot up besides marines and thors). So the answer is that you probably are already doing it but you haven't realized it.

Wow the TvP analysis daily truly made me sick.

That's great, Jonas, but I don't see what that has directly to do with the matter at hand, which is spamming Marines all day long and being very effective with it.
Perhaps this strategy would be negated by the bigger maps (eg GSL) as well, in which case it won't be a problem in the longer term?

Can someone inform me what the next funday monday is about?

I am annoyed that mass marine works so well and is so easy too, but players will learn how to better deal with it. The ways to deal with it is to smash the big blob of marines, or ambush the reinforcements on the way, there are games where hovering a low number mutas over the barracks shuts down the terran until he retreats enough of his units to scare them off.
Don't know for protoss, don't colossus melt Bio balls?

When will daily #200 come out? I hope its before #300

I read somewhere there was a daily where Day9 spoke about the new maps of the ladder. I cant find it though. Anyone got a link?

Hey has anyone seen the amazon tourney that Day[9] cast ? Plural of zealots... Zeals ! perfect way to say it.. it flows really well. Day[9] rules !
|
Hey, Sean. I would love to see some of your old BW tournament Games. I saw Bluewolf casted some BW tournament replays from 2001-2002, some of your games aswell.
|
In that Amazon tourney game, + Show Spoiler +seeing all those lings, hydras, and roaches stuck in the same hotkey throughout the entire game was awful. Leave the one control group stuff to the other races, cuz damn is that bad for zerg.

does anyone know when sean gets back and if there is a daily today?

Its great that companies like amazon and even facebook are taking some notice in esports

Presumably after the IEM World Championship, which is taking place from March 1 to March 5, I guess he will take a couple of days of after it and then continue with the dailies next week.
