Goon Reaver without Corsair One Base Zeals Fake FE (build the forge and a cannon) and mass zeals in the back and pushout All with limited success. It would be great if you gave us Protoss another form a play for our arsenals since some of us are less macro oriented and would love some more early aggression micro play.

![]() So my question is (to anyone at TL really): What is the best way to get into the basics? An easy map to start with? An easy build to start working on? Should i try working on a build on each race to see if it fits me, or just pick a race to go with? Anything i didn't list? I've played a couple of other RTS games quite a bit so atleast my macro is semi-descent, and i'm not totally lost ![]() I love your daily streams! Please never stop!

Play the campaign. Watch some English commentated games on youtube or TSL or something. LAN with friends. When you're comfortable with what the units do and how the game mechanics work, you can expand the number of resources you're using. I mean Liquipedia, lurking in TL's strategy forum, Day[9]'s casts, etc. An easy map? Python is standard, but I'd suggest you play a bunch of different maps. This is more fun, and prevents you from developing a reliance on certain maps for your builds to work properly. Play recent maps. An easy build? It depends on your race. Liquipedia has a very comprehensive set of descriptions for build orders. You should pick out one or two and get comfy with them. What about race? Play a bit with different races. See what style suits you. You can always change. I would suggest that you don't shift too quickly. Give a single race a good chance and try to get comfortable with it. It's useful to know how to play all 3 races even when you're solidly entrenched in a single one. There are a ton of noobs on TL posting 'I'm a noob, what should I do' threads, so there is a lot of advice out there for questions very similar to yours.
