Yeah, now probes get to reign supreme with their shields! I'm a fan (can you tell I play toss?) Also, he accidentally a word there about dragoons. I laughed.

Is it okay then to queue units in the late game like this?? When you have lots of money? It is as ineffective as it is early on and therefore should be avoided at any time.

You should avoid both at all times to be really efficient.

A friend of mine and I recently came up with a surprisingly effective strategy for 2v2 games that we further refined over the course of a number of games. Since Day[9] is always talking about the process of developing a strategy as going from a number of broad strokes to a thought-out build-order and time (supply count) to move out, I was thinking some of the replays (each 8-12 mins) might be interesting.

Is it okay then to queue units in the late game like this?? When you have lots of money? The best answer would be to build more unit producing facilities. Sice I'm not perfect (or close), the only exception I'll make is on a CC/Nexus at an expansion. In the mid/late game, I find it hard to remember to go back and queue up SCVs/Probes in perfect timing.
