Keeping gas low is easy, but the only pure mineral dump for Zerg is Zerglnigs, which is often not enough to burn through all the excess.

If you find yourself unable to spend resources then just make an extra expansion for two more gas geysers, plus the expansion will provide you with extra larva. Make sure your two extractors are complete as soon as the hatchery is complete and the first 6drones (transfered preferably or produced) should be sent towards collecting gas. Also take into consideration why is it that you have less gas in the first place? Is it because you took your 3rd and 4th gas too late? If so then you have to go over your build-order and strategy and resolving this by taking 3rd/4th gas sooner. Or is it because of upgrades and tech buildings? Then again having multiple upgrades and tech without having adequate army is pointless. Try to allocate resources based on situational priority.

really like your dailies. I particularly liked the one you did on why idra is so good at zerg in general and ZvP in particular. I was wondering whether you might do one on the hdh final with whitera and talk about what went wrong with idra's style. I was hoping that the daily 124 would be about this but it was whitera vs sen and focused on the Protoss rather than the zerg. Thanks.

By the time I'm setting up my second expansion, all I care about is gas, so I do set up the geysers first. Afterward, I do rally a bunch of Drones to the minerals though. Even with an extra Hatchery, there are only so many Zerglings I can make...so sure, I could just not take any of the minerals at the third expo and be fine, haha, but that defeats the point.

Obviously if you saturate every expansion you make, you will have a lot of minerals. Either build fewer drones for minerals (--> more army) or build more hatcheries. Many SC2 Zergs have this bizarre idea that each hatchery has to be at a different expansion. Hint: unlike Nexuses/CCs, additional hatcheries allow you to build additional fighting units.

Always saturate your expansion if you are safe and able to do so. there are so many ways to spend money other then massing lings for the sake of spending minerals. Also I wasn't saying don't put drones on your expansion, rather that the "First 6drones should go to gas if that is what you lack to produce higher tier units" If you still can't get rid of the minerals then you could do: 1 extra hatchery in your main 2 Putting down expansion/s 3. Saturate your expansions 4. producing more overlords then you need so you are not supply blocked in the future 5. making sure you have queen on all your expansions/main and that you are not missing on larva injection.

Queens are another great mineral dump and you can use them for tumors or transfusion. Some of the best 150 minerals you can spend. Another alternative is to make more hatcheries, not necessarily at an expo, but next to your existing hatch(es) just solely for more larva.

Only bad thing: you're streaming like 4am here, so I'm not really able to watch live and send questions. But nevermind, just consider this a huge shoutout to your awesomeness! Even if you are not "the fastest zergling in the control-group" xD
