Well.. maybe not all the way, I'll catch a train for a stretch of the journey, its prob like 50km to work (31 Miles) This should naturally cover my cardio so I can concentrate on my weight and strength training!

So I'm actually leaving a day earlier than planned for my holiday, I guess today has become the deadline for my goal.
I weighed in today at 88.5kg giving me a 7.5kg loss since december 16th. I didn't make my goal of 85, which is a bit disappointing, though due to its arbitrariness I'm not so fussed. I and many of my friends have noticed a difference in how I look and I need to buy a lot of new clothes, especially pants (Belt needs a new notch too).
Running wise, I can almost run the entire track (I do about 4.6km out of 5.1km now) the only bit I don't run is a 50m~ break where I have to cross a creek and go down some steep stairs, so it's not particularly safe to run that, and then a massive, massive hill/stair section which takes up the other 450-500m. I'm also consistently achieving 33:00-33:40 run times so that's coming along nicely too.
I turned my ankle twice last night playing squash, means I'll probably have to stick to swimming while on holiday (Oh noes ), when I get back I guess it's time to set the next goal.
So in the end, I didn't reach my goal but I'm still really happy with how it has turned out.
EDIT: I'm organising some before/after shots

3 weeks and 4lb away from my goal. If I hadn't been doing hardcore weight training I would have reached my goal by now. But I am happier about this outcome since everything is getting so toned.
Poker night tonight with the guys at work, but I have already accounted for the pizza and beer to be consumed. I rode my bike to work today, had a very sensible breakfast and lunch, with a couple of pieces of fruit for snacks. I think I am about 2000calories in debt for the day which should account for the 2-3 slices of pizza and 6-8 beers.
Even when I am going to indulge I break even!

I just got out of the gym. Did shoulders / triceps. Jogged a 1 1/4 mile after each body part. So one after shoulders and triceps. Feels better to seperate cardio into parts rather than doing it in one chunk. High intensity interval training. I don't know that you'll see the best results working out in that manner. I can't say for certain, but I mean, it just seems like there's probably a really good reason that it's normally separated (weight lifting one day, cardio another). Like I said, I can't say for certain, but.... Well, I need to lose a lot of body fat percentage (I'd like to be in the 11-13% this year). I was thinking of doing 45-60 mins of cardio a day. The reason for this is because I would like to increase my lung capacity and to also burn some fat (I'm usually doing 5.0 on the treadmill, which gets my heart around 155 heart beat per min so good for burning fat). Though, I'm not really sure if its good. Could you offer some advice on what I should do? I'm trying to lose the fat, but increase some muscle mass.
from what i've heard a rigorous lifting schedule will get you there faster than cardio.

Drop that junk. Do Starting Strength.

I strongly suggest you buy the book though because it goes over all the lifts in very, very, very good detail.
