I can’t see Liverpool prioritising the Europa League over the Prem, but City may do so with the Champions League, even if subconsciously. Arsenal have never won it, and their focus may also go that way if they negotiate Bayern. I can’t see any team that goes deeper and deeper in Europe, and especially the CL also winning every remaining game, but if a team exits in this round/the next one I think they can knuckle down and put in such a run for the league. Hey regardless I’m pretty pumped, been a while since we had a title race of more than two horses! As long as it’s not City haha. It’d be nice for Klopp to land another league title before he walks into the sunset, or Arsenal to break their duck and really cement their place as back among the elite once more.

We just cant finish and don't have enough creativity to find a goal sometimes when teams are playing a very organized defense. Jota and Trent coming back are super important for us. Salah's form has dropped immensely. Normally with these chances he's gotten, he'd have slotted at least 2 by for us on an average day. Quansah's mistake is simply that, a mistake. I don't blame him for our loss, he played a fantastic game outside of the mistake, much like how I don't blame Matip for his own goal against Spurs. Oh well, onto the next I guess. We cannot afford to drop points. Arsenal's form is simply too good right now, need to hope they get unlucky somewhere.

Guessing at the end of the season Foden will be the only of these three players who might be in contention for PL player of the year, which I could see him get if City ends up winning. (They don't really give that award to DMs xd). I don't really have an opinion on who has been best though, just that Foden has been great, and if you look at individual games, then I have a hard time seeing any offensive PL player top his best matches of the season.

When does the voting for such an award occur anyway? IIRC it’s not actually when all is said and done right? I could see it going to any player who really clutches this title run-in of the attacking contingent. But if nobody goes Super Saiyan, in the absence of an obvious attacker, we might see it going to a more defensive player which only tends to occur in such a circumstance. So maybe a Rodri might be worth a bet
