Again, as I said. Tottenham's biggest mistake of the decade was kowtowing to this guy thinking he was reason they would win ANYTHING. Hilarious. Now look at Bayern.

Indeed, look at all the things Tottenham won since he left.

Bologna play the clear worst team in Serie A tonight, a win keeps them in the champions league spots with 8 rounds to go. They are sitting ahead of Roma, Lazio, Atalanta and Napoli.

The last time they were in Europe was 2000, pretty cool for them. Also their captain is a Scot which can't have happened too many times in Serie A

Arsenal didn't want to play football. Time-wasting from the start and kicked City off the pitch. The game needed the ref to stop Arsenal's antics but he was so reluctant to book anyone that Arsenal could do it all match.

Yes Arsenal and Arteta did exactly what he criticised Newcastle for at the start of the season. But I am not surprised, hypocrisy is strong in him. But at least we got a point out of it!

I don’t know if Arsenal were all that negative and spoiling, felt they just couldn’t get a proper grip on the game. Don’t think I’ve seen Odegaard misplace as many relatively simple passes in a match for quite some time

If Arsenal management felt that they needed to stop City getting 3 points as the main priority, is there anything wrong with turning up to shut down the game?
Its insane that they actually managed to stop City from scoring. Name another team that even could shut down a game at the Etihad.

Sorry my man, but no. I hated Greece playing anti-football, I hated Chelsea playing anti-football and I sure as hell aren't going to praise anybody playing anti-football, even if it's impressive anti-football.

That said, I don't think Arsenal set out to play anti-football. Rather they set out to be more careful than their usual game plan and City set out to have their usual game plan of 6 burly defenders crushing midfield play and then pressing high into (a) de Bruyne do magic or (b) give the ball to Haaland in the box. Arsenal did do a good job of utterly shutting out Haaland (or maybe Haaland just had a really bad day), but was completely incapable of their own magic midfield getting much of anything done to City. I don't think it was a game plan on either side, just nerves and the lack of a spark of genius that turned the game to shit.

Don't think he played THAT bad, just couldn't finish some chances you'd expect him to. Macca was incredible though, what service he provided to that front line.

Not sure about good teams cancelling each other out, that would be more like Liverpool vs City at Anfield this season in the 1-1 draw. This was a park the bus Arsenal team and a City side that didn't really look to push too hard. 4 CBs and 2 DMs on each side basically made this game a wash.

I’d largely agree with all of that, except I think the real reason the game sucked is I popped down to the pub to watch the big game. Seemingly any time I get pumped for the big game and do this, the game is invariably absolutely awful

Apologies all I’ll warn in advance for the next one!

City had scored in 57 games in a row on Etihad. Most important thing for Arsenal was to not lose, and City is the least happy of the top 3 teams with this result.

I mean it's unfortunate that a game with all the promise in the world ends up sucking, but keeping City from scoring is pretty impressive no matter how you slice it. It's actually the fourth time ever a Pep team is goal-less against the same team both home and away.

But isnt that what simeone has been doing for years and people praise him and atlético?

I too am against it, and as soon as Mourinho turned into it, he was over to me. Hes stay at inter completely broke him :/

Defending well is impressive but not when they consistently break the rules. The ref tried to let them play and Arsenal still committed the most fouls of all Premier League teams over the weekend. The 2 yellow cards in the match both went to Arsenal for time-wasting, with Jesus bringing a second ball onto the pitch to delay a City free kick. Cheating is not impressive.

Not sure if I've ever seen a triple sub in the first half in that Fulham Forest game.

Think Mourinho has done double subs before not sure about triple, but with the 5 subs now in games i guess it similar. Good on the coach, to be 3-0 down after 30 minutes to Forest is not a good look.

Triple subs happened before the 3rd goal though, so only 2-0. I guess you can argue that the subs worked when you tied the game 1-1 afterwards.

Oh was 2-0, yeah still good from coach, i hate when they just leave it and it gets worse and worse. They lost game but you can't say coach didn't try and change something.

Fulham such a weird side, can give a great game to top teams but then also get spanked by Forest.

Fulham are an awful team away from home. They've got 2 wins away this entire season, Everton and United. At home, they're actually quite good, they 3-0 Spurs recently and everyone remembers their 2-1 win over Arsenal. One of the reasons why I hate that Liverpool have to go there away soon, definitely a trap game where we could drop points.
