While I absolutely can understand the central crux of your point and where it’s coming from, I think there’s a way to invoke it without indulging in ‘always the victim’ phraseology which has certain ugly connotations.
I’ve a relative whose husband was killed by the IRA, and while I’m not averse to being critical of the IRA or Irish Republicanism, if I find myself even vaguely sounding similar to the worst elements of loyalist sectarians I’ll course correct

No one is ignoring shit, the flare throwing gained tons of popularity both on twitter and reddit. And not one mentally stable LFC fan is blaming someone else for the flare throwing. Or for this game. Jesus you have a hard on for making random false premises to justify your shitty behavior. And if you have a personal connection to the event, you would know better than to use such disgraceful language. But you don't care, so I guess the event doesn't actually mean much to you, you'd rather just get one up on LFC fans, because again that's just who you are, a trash human being. This is like a victim of a triggering event using the same triggering language. Either it means something to you and you respect it, or it doesn't and you're just feigning that you care.

Klopp's idea was to probably get more match fitness into players who had been out injured and needed more time. But playing players like Endo, Macca, Nunez was definitely a bit of a head scratcher. Salah and Szobo should've been pulled at half time and the rest of our team just told to chill and relax. Clark came off with a knock that forced Klopp to sub him off rather than Salah but honestly, I would've just rather played with 10 men. Granted Salah was playing like Messi for most of the 2nd half walking around.

I think MLS is knocking on the door, it’s certainly in and around top 15 these days and I think based on relative economic clout of where it’s situated it’s got a good shot at becoming the best league in the Americas in short enough order.

In fact, I'm also pretty confident that before we reach the MLS we'd probalby have rank the Championship, Liga 2 and maybe Serie B. And once again, that's just Europe: Brazil, Argentina and maybe Mexico also still have better leagues than the MLS. Brazil, again, maybe even 2 divisions.

South American leagues you’re really seeing them struggle in recent times. They were never particularly well-run institutionally and being situated in countries with less economic clout than the US or Europe more generally, they’ve really fallen off in this last 20 years.
The real top talents are increasingly going to Europe before they’ve even played a full season, and MLS is increasingly making inroads in picking up ‘decent’ talent from South America that would traditionally have moved around between its constituent nations.
It’s slightly overstating it but South America is generally full of the next big things, bound for Europe, has-beens returning from Europe and the rank and file are never-will-bes just not good enough for elite Euro football
The region is still overall ahead of the MLS on account of football’s cultural cachet for sure.
I think the path to overtaking South America and smaller European leagues is really contingent on football getting that little more traction and the US getting a production line of better players that it can actually retain.
I don’t think it can pull ahead until it does that, Europe has the history and links, and other structural advantages like European freedom of movement internally which lets players come from all over and bounce around very easily.
But in a hypothetical where the US can produce a bunch of Pulisic calibre players more regularly and more stick around, I can definitely see it being the best league in the Americas for average quality

I would even rate the japanese league above the MLS.
What I have seen from MLS are hilarious defence fails and the reels where Zlatan absolutely destroyed teams almost by himself.

I think MLS has a lot more depth to its teams and is a lot more interesting league with how parity works and the quality of stadiums, which I would put top of the world. Most leagues in the world are extremely top heavy but MLS hasn't seen a team repeat in more than a decade. In its almost 30 year history repeats have happened 3 times and no threepeats. Season pass also being best for the consumer in anywhere in the world isn't a hard argument to make, a single subscription for all games no blackouts and great streaming quality.
I was slightly meming in response to the post about messi vs ronaldo. It echos the saudi league vs mls quite well. Team for team I would slot it in the top 10 8-10 yeah, I think its better than the championship and bunda2 but I don't know how to definitively prove that.

To prove that you'd need to get some Euro League slots to MLS and see how it goes or something.
And it may be existing on paper for some 30 years but it's current (and final?) iteration is just about 10 years old.

The MLS teams don't have depth, let alone even starting caliber players, for their defenders. They buy washed up has beens from the top 5, then the rest of their players just aren't good enough. I'd probably rate the Championship over them tbh and don't think an MLS team would ever make it to promotion if slotted in.
