Even for Finland, I can think of a few names - Litmanen and Forsell. Anyway, hope this sparks a golden era for Norway. Really rooting for Haaland and co to make a mark on the international scene in the coming years!

I don't know if they can last in this game until the end, but they have been dominating the last 15 minutes or so.

So far though, they, along with Arsenal, look like the most improved team since last season.

Of course, it's very early - west ham looked amazing three games into last season, tottenham was 3-0-0 after 3 games and 3-0-3 after 6, arsenal was 0-0-3 after 3 but 3-0-3 after 6, etc. So far though, they, along with Arsenal, look like the most improved team since last season. Man U and West Ham might well finish outside the top 10 with the improvements being made in teams like Newcastle, Brighton etc.

I don’t wish them well, but they do look ahead of schedule. I thought they’d be in the race for Europa League this season, then push for CL next time out. Howe’s navigating the transition to a club with bigger budgets and expectations rather well too. I still don’t think he’d have been taken into consideration for the gig if Newcastle weren’t in serious risk of relegation, but perhaps there’s a lesson to be learned here. There’s some good British coaching talent that just doesn’t get a shot at big gigs, so maybe Howe opens some doors.

Saint-Maximin always had the talent, but had poor end product. Now he looks world class. Bruno is a crazy good player too. Others like Joelinton were never going to be world class individually, but Howe's really getting the absolute best out of him.

It’s already a quite odd season. Even more so than usual teams that did their transfer business earlier are getting a bonus. Arsenal have had these first match weeks with their team for the season set, whereas a Leicester are playing without new recruitment, and the unsettling interest other clubs have for a decent chunk of their squad. January could be even more critical than usual. I thought Leeds looked a bit thin in terms of depth, but they’ve started very well, so if they earn a decent buffer and address that in January they could have a pretty decent season. United look a mess but even with that, I think they’re going to slot in somewhere 7th thru 9th Early indicators, I reckon it’s three from Chelsea/Arsenal/Spurs for the 3rd/4th spots. I’d expected a three tier thing with City/Liverpool, then Chelsea, then Spurs and Arsenal shooting out for fourth. With Chelsea seemingly standing still, and Spurs and Arsenal improving they’re probably all in the same band now.

Robert, Solano, Speed, Dyer, Bellamy, Shearer, Carr, etc. The key to winning Fantasy Football back then was the NUFC YOLO attack-is-the-best-defence brigade. Another ultimate weapon was picking Shay Given at the right time - on a good day, he'll make a handful of saves and keep a clean sheet (on a bad day, well, I've seen him gotten -20 points once)

We’re actually looking like title contenders for the first time in so long I guess it's very early days for this, but I'm a bit curious on how Arsenal balances out the Europa League ambitions and PL. There's probably some temptation to try to grab some decently valued European silverware unless there's an actual chance to contest PL. At least in least in my books a top 4 finish and a good Europa League run seems like a pretty good ambition for this season.
