I don't really know. Obviously on paper hiring a world class DM is a huge difference maker. Then again they're hiring a 30-year-old DM who has won everything into a project that may be in full speed maybe 2-3 years from here if everything lines up perfectly. Once the world cup is over, he has very little motivation to stay relevant. I guess United can buy some safeties with bonuses and all that, but it really feels like a potentially massive dead weight contract the moment Casemiro doesn't feel like putting in the effort. | ||
