at least that would give ppl a reason to watch manu games, for a few games anyways

Apparently Ronaldo reeeeeeeeeeeally wants to move to Dortmund, probably because they’re the only CL team in the big five leagues that hasn’t rejected him, but they already said no lmao
Psst, Ronaldo, go to Shakhtar Donetsk!

Looks like the Casemiro to ManU is actually happening.
I don't really know. Obviously on paper hiring a world class DM is a huge difference maker. Then again they're hiring a 30-year-old DM who has won everything into a project that may be in full speed maybe 2-3 years from here if everything lines up perfectly. Once the world cup is over, he has very little motivation to stay relevant.
I guess United can buy some safeties with bonuses and all that, but it really feels like a potentially massive dead weight contract the moment Casemiro doesn't feel like putting in the effort.

From an entertainment perspective, I would love that <3

That is a spot they've been sorely lacking, leading to them playing both Fred and McTominay. Get Casemiro, bench both, and maybe their on paper decent attacking players can start performing.
It might not be a signing with the best longevity but right now they're more concerned with pouring water out of the hull / stopping the fire - they need something immediate.

Yeah, a solid DM is probably the one thing Utd needs the most. It could be absolutely brilliant if they can get a good year or two out of him. I guess I'm just so used to seeing United suck the soul and motivation out of the players that this seems like a completely cynical cash out to me.

wow the first good buy in years, only downside to casemiro is that he's 30

the modern day makelele - signing reminds me of when we brought in matic; begging his legs don't die out on casemiro halfway through his contract.

Wolves lining up with 7 Portuguese in their starting 11, including the entire front 6. Gotta be close to a record in the prem

They were talking about that on soccer saturday. Wolves have signed 26 Portuguese players since 2016 lol.

Have they had any trouble with homegrown rule? I did a quick count and today's match squad has 17 players coming from countries outside the UK. That would be the maximum allowed if nobody fits the homegrown rules.
