Sure, he's a legend, so the players will probably do their best at the start...but I think this is very opportunistic. I might work. I imagine it something like this: You Xavi as a figurhead for fans and media and a whole bunch of support guys who have actual experience managing a big club and do the actual work

Smart player but inexperienced manager, loved by fans, gets to rebuild without much pressure, and then has to be replaced in his third season because at that point expectations are higher than what he's able to accomplish. Is still overall pretty much a success because the rebuild has been well executed. ![]() Unless he turns out to be a managerial genius! After Koeman, expectations can't be high.

Also - damn, La liga does look exciting. Might have a 5 way tie at 21 points after today. And while last season, Barcelona actually had a worse point tally after 10 rounds (they were 4-2-4 as opposed to the 4-3-3 they are right now), they still looked like a top 4 team. Now, they really don't.

I can hear the boos on stream lol 0-3. OGS is safe for now Total shots on goal so far - 0 for Spurs, 4 for Utd. 532 seems to be the way forward for Utd. The 3rd defender give them more stability while AWB and Shaw can attack on the wings. The midfield core of McFred and Fernandes is solid. As long as they are healthy, top 4 should be doable. City is next with Laporte suspended, there may be a tiny bit of hope

Juventus coach Max Allegri: At this moment, we’re a midtable team.

The problems are probably what's left on the bench. You're going to struggle fitting Sancho, Rashford, Greenwood, Martial and Pogba into that. The City match is intereting. It feels to me like the derby has been living it's own life on the recent years and ignored any notion expected power levels and such.
