Most coaches would probably do it behind closed doors but “processing” players is def a real thing. He can’t actually pull their scholarships thanks to rule changes in like 2017 or something where student athletes are guaranteed 4 years

I'm not too knowledgeable about NCAA rules. Is it possible for them to convert the scholarships into academic ones then kick the players off the team?
The players he wants to kick out aren't necessarily what we'd call NFL prospects, to put it mildly. Major universities aren't knocking on their door. They're better off getting a Colorado degree.

I believe they “can” we long as they don’t say that’s what they’re doing. They can be “injured” or something and medically retire but I don’t think the school can just say they’re kicked off the team

Baker Mayfield doing a Tom Brady after getting out of Carolina.

Mahomes with another crazy TD pass

Just like I taught him.
Brady and the Bucs are getting blown out by 49ers.

That Deebo Samuel injury looks ugly. I'm hoping it's not serious.

Yeah, it's sad to see something like that happen. It did look bad.
And oof, Fox switched from the GOAT to the Seahawks-Panthers game. Can't even come up with a good joke for that.

Maybe this is the year we find out the real GOAT was not Bill or Tom. #itwasallGronk A plausible theory would be that pre-rukes changes in the initial 3 peat it was mostly BB and his defensive mastery, and circa 2007+ it was mostly Moss then Gronk.
But the Seattle and LA super bowls were also BB defensive clinics.

I'm sure both played a part. As a defensive coach, BB can also be aggressive on offense. That's the failing a lot of defensive minded coaches have. Dungy frequently held back Manning with overly conservative decision making. I feel like, for top teams, it's better to have an offensive minded coach with a great DC than have a defensive minded coach with a great OC.
Or we could have just seen a passing of the torch. Brady to Purdy. LOL

The torch sure as hell ain't going to Purdy lmao. Nice joke though!
I think, with all of the distractions, injuries, etc, this TB team just isn't it. I'd be shocked if they even made a sniff of the playoffs, let alone go on a tear and win the whole thing.
Mahomes and Burrows (Tua and Hurts to an extent) look like the next leaders of the NFL in the QB department.
|
That is the most Chargers td they have ever given up. That sort of thing usually happens in the 4th quarter though.

Straight up never could stop the run in the playoffs because they built the team's run defense around an injury prone safety. And kept the same ass-tired defensive scheme from 1999.

The 49ers are really proving a good offense can make any qb look good this year

Word out of Mississippi is that Mike Leach had a massive heart attack with subsequent prolonged cardiac arrest and seizures yesterday. Latest update is that family is transitioning him to hospice.
