Their next game is against Leicester City who can be dangerous as well. Interesting times ahead for Liverpool, they defo need to get these new CBs they signed in to the first 11 to get Fabinho and Henderson back into midfield as like you said their system is just out of whack.

At least City finally conceded a goal..

But man, again I'm just struck by the absurdity of it. Liverpool goes 68 games without losing at home field - a vast majority of these games being wins. Then they lose 3 games in a row. I love how stuff like this happens.

Yeah was same with Chelsea right, our stupid record of 88 games i think at home unbeaten and when Bournemouth where in the premier league we lost every home game vs them i think lol.

Yeah it's done, they aren't conceding any goals and don't see anyone catching them. United might have had a chance if defence was better but with this current defence there's no way to challenge City.

The only thing I can see stopping them is some critical injuries and collapse while chasing the elusive UCL title. Even then it's hard to see who'd have to get injured, since they can do alright without De Bruyne, Fernandinho and Aguero now. Maybe if Diaz gets injured, there could be some defensive weaknesses to exploit.

It's not just about MC dropping the ball. Which other team has the consistency to catch up? Liverpool is injury-stricken, Leicester is just ain't good enough.

Second best bet right now is MU - but their season's form is also erratic and their recent good run seems more down to momentum than players really clicking together (like MC and Liverpool past two seasons). If they had defeated Liverpool weeks ago, that would've been really a turning point that clinched their championship legitimacy.

I have a feeling Chelsea will make a late surge under Tuchel - but too far, too late.

Think Tuchel getting Chelsea top 4 somehow will be an extremely good job done in short space of time and i will be very happy if we somehow manage that one!

City look very good at the right time and everyone else struggles to put it together for a consistent period of time. Their next fixtures are the toughest for City anyway so the league will literally be done if they survive them;

Liverpool for me are still that same team from last two seasons with the way they press high, win the ball back and break quick, it is just they get to the edge of the box and freeze. They seem to not know how to find that final pass, and it all slows up very quickly and breakdown. They are dominating the possession and getting into the final third with ease vs Leicester but have only really had one good chance.
