To be honest financial fair play is ridiculous because of u do not get results you want there is a drop off in income, but if you do not invest you don't get results. Only servers as a gate keeper for new teams to become good.

For all that the European Super League was a total shitshow, one can at least see why the non-English teams were tempted. Barca are teetering on the brink of heavy financial problems, Real aren’t far off, Juve have been run admirably for years, but one feels they’re only a few bad decisions away from struggling too. Inter are financially toothless once their benefactor wasn’t pumping the money, and Milan are only now recovering from huge financial problems after their previous benefactor didn’t cut the mustard.

Only clubs with sponsors and money from cl can do that. You are able to spend money on infrastructure though, as a form of investment that’s less tied into your averaged income, at least more freely than expenditures on players and salaries. It still needs further tweaking to enable upward movement, for the reasons you describe. A world without FFP over these past years and I don’t see a scenario where many, many august clubs went to the wall with the Covid crisis. So there is at least that

So there is at least that I can see clubs saved by not spending because of this, but feel that FFP would make clubs go bankrupt if they make a try and fail or force them to sell out Also I think you will see clubs go bankrupt that are not in pl and get most of money from TV deals.
