The meeting between the 12 Super League clubs is over. For now, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are still in the project.

Hell of a few days to be an Inter fan with a smidgeon of conscience, first the rumour mill about the fucking Saudis who’ve tried to buy Newcastle, then we join this shitshow? Frankly unbelievable amounts of hubris, insane. I’d read these folks knew it would be unpopular with us punters, they may have underestimated quite how much but to not even consult their employees if they’d play ball is insane. On the plus side it’s brought out the best in football culture, genuine solidarity between rival fans. Without going too much into crude historical analogies, we can’t just go back to a policy of appeasement after such an egregious breach of the social contract of football.

I've got a Europa League campaign to finish watching and a Stan Kroenke to keep telling to fuck off and sell the club, so I'll definitely be here

Or all sorts of other super rich fucking cunts. I’m unsure if they’re horrific uncaring people or genuinely exist in an oblivious bubble, would be nice to find out. It’s tough the final 4 for me. Quite like Arsenal, the perpetual Serie A hipster in me wants to see Roma do well. I’ve a giant soft spot for Villareal ever since their Riquelme days, one of my favourite players ever. Wait a second, it was your lot that denied the yellow submarine a place in the Champion’s League final! Can’t quite remember who missed a penalty that would have put them through...

Maybe UEFA can now come up with the exact same idea, only with promotion and relegation from/to the national leagues.

I totally can't either! I wonder if Emery and Villareal will take revenge on us lol

Guy seems to have a real quality when it comes to Europa League level Spanish teams that didn’t quite translate to his time at Arsenal. Clearly a good coach though, I believe his actual numbers in the league are better than Arteta’s too

My jokingly not knowing would've worked a lot better if this wasn't the internet lol And that they are, he had I think 10 more points at this point in his season than Arteta does now
