Yeah but loney filled in pretty well in 18 and Martin is still an absolute stud. Tyrone smith is still one of the best though health is more and more of a concern and Collins is looking more like the first round grade he had before he was accidentally charged with murder. Now your getting zeke back with a full camp and adding a incredible weapon to two 1000 yard guys. I’m excited, now defence where you might be relying on randy Gregory and Aldon Smith is going to be interesting, still got great linebackers at least.

Why piss off Aaron Rodgers like that? He's still a top 5 QB, hasn't retired/unretired multiple times like his predecessor, and Love wasn't a potential #1 overall pick in the draft who slid all the way to the mid 20s like Rodgers. Packers are basically saying a) Love is going to be better than Rodgers within 3-4 years and b) there won't be any better QBs available than Love in the next 3-4 years. Don't make sense to me.

Yea, that was a bizarre pick. Guess the front office believes Rodgers is closer to retirement than we thought - in that case, it might make more sense as Love is more of a project QB

Jalen Hurts in the 2nd round, when there is still quality LB/WR talent around is puzzling and is just going to switch the narrative from Foles > Wentz to Hurts > Wentz.

Now we know about the weak Giants draft. BB with that doggo advantage over the rest of the league.

Also, I think the cowboys had a hell of a draft. Things have go so much better since Jerry stepped back. Either they have great scouts and Stephen listens or he is really good. The last like 5-7 drafts have produced probowlers and all pros.

The value of a drafted QB is mostly that they are underpaid for 5 years, of which you hope 3-4 are productive. There's a reason the Superbowl is rarely a duel between two of the top 5 paid QBs.

The most jarring one to me was 2016ish Luck, taking some colossal amount of money to stand behind an atrocious OLine and get wrecked day after day. A moderate paycut for a couple more linemen and a functioning body might have been a good investment. Brady seemed to be the only one who really did this.
