As I called a couple weeks ago, perpetual mediocrity.

The Vikings won't even reach a Super Bowl with their current structure. New GM, new coaching staff, etc.

Realistically, they just need new owners (like every other MN sports team that isn't the Lynx), because the Wilfs have clearly demonstrated that they don't know how to create a consistently successful organization.

I think the context of his post was that their results are mediocre compared to the talent they have on the roster. Which I completely agree with.

This is the cowardly mentality that results in MN sports not ever winning anything. Go ahead, be satisfied with the occasional playoffs and never actually winning anything. It's gotten us nowhere in the last 45 years, despite having some incredible hall of fame talent and several different teams that should've been better than they performed.

By the way, we have yet to make the playoffs 2 years in a row with Zimmer. That isn't consistency.

He will probably start because their only other options are a guy who had a brain tumor removed and isn’t cleared for contact and a true freshman
