Damn. That is just an ass beating. I can honestly say that I'll be satisfied with whomever wins the SB this year. Some of these teams are playing at a level not seen in a long time.

Jackson just had his Cam Newton MVP season, with a better passer rating. He went from Unstoppable to getting crushed by a backup QB who cant throw 100 yards. Ravens did Jackson a big disservice letting the young black QB sit three weeks in a row. We now have the Texans to thank for the Titans being in the SB. Henry just ran thru the 2 best D-lines in the league. The Chiefs barely have a D-line, Tannihill and the Titans already beat Mahomes in OT during the regular season, and if the Texans beat the Chiefs, Houston will spend the whole game wondering why they didn't let the Steelers into the playoffs instead.

With Newton making 19 mil next year, Titans should give Tannihill 20-23, around what Foles is being paid. 2 tds and rushing td aint bad.

Why are you calling me racist and my takes bad? I'm comparing the play of Jackson and Newton because they had a similar rise and fall MVP seasons. Newton had two weeks off after playing like a god because of the probowl and he choked during the SB to a crippled QB. Houston sitting Watson and Letting McCarron stating McCarron contributed to the Titans making their playoffs run. I dont know how you interprate me saying these things is somehow "horribly awful". Although, you trying to contort my post into me being be a bigot is a hot take.

I was responding to the question is this a blip or crack for Jackson, not trying to make a statement about race.
The QB play styles that mostly close resemble Jackson are Watson, Mahomes, Newton, and Wilson. I couldn't compare Jackson's MVP play to Brady, Ryan, or Bree's MVP seasons because they are not mobile. I chose Newton as the closest example to Jackson because they both had a dramatic rise in production as a young QB after having an average year. The last two times a young QB had a substantial amount of time off in the playoffs, their ability tends to decline dramatically. That was the line I was trying to draw. It was just happenstance that both of those QB's were black so I correlated that detail in. Wilson, Watson, and Mahomes are the best QB's still in the playoffs. I didn't mean to cause any animosity.

I mentioned Jackson being beat by a backup QB to contrast his season to Newton's MVP season. Peyton Manning was a backup before the Superbowl after being benched and still beat the MVP Newton in the SB after coming off the bench. Tannihill was a backup QB for Mariota and ended up beating Jackson.

just don't think about race at all. its worth is like mentioning that QB's with beards play similarly. it's a dumb factoid. except it's not the same as that, because a bunch of hateful and racist people exist in the world, and their hatred and views have made it so that mentioning race at all in a situation like this has to be avoided, because those people tie race in with performance and other things as a method for oppression and hate. so even if that's not your intent, you just can't do it. racists have ruined that avenue for everyone.

edit: and specifically talking about black QB's and the traits they tend to possess and the traits they supposedly lack has historically been a problematic thing. ultimately it has limited black QB opportunities. it is damage that we now have to actively and consciously combat and the first step is to stop thinking of QB's as black or white at all. they're just QB's.
