Seems like a solid but not spectacular hire. lol, for what is considered one of the most attractive jobs in the nfl, jerry didn't even get a sniff from lincoln riley or urban meyer, and only picked mccarthy because marvin lewis was determined to bring in hue jackson as his OC. Probably a 2nd or 3rd round pick. nah, his situation perfectly makes it so that he "falls' to the dolphins at 5. 99.9% of it is going to end up on the medical though.

We should have learned to not listen to a lot of people. Ourselves included. I just don't think his injury history and him not really being any different than what is already out there, gets him drafted higher. There's still the combine, which he won't participate in so no one will really know what he can do. He's a risky pick.

Remember when DK Metcalf fell because of all the talk around him not being a good route runner? LOL people don't know anything, even the draft gurus.

The Eagles have just had miserable injury luck, so you can't do a normal comparison between them and others because of the fact that their whole team was injured by the end of the year The Seahawks has some massive injury problems of their own, so that is no excuse for that game, at least. Compare the RB production by injured back throughout the season to what they had the last 3 games, Lynch as the lead RB did not even break 40 yards, ouch... Fortunately, they got Clowney and Diggs back, so they have a chance to beat the Packers. If the the Green Bay play smart and go all-in in stopping the passing game, though, it will be very difficult.

For being a rookie receiver Metcalf has been amazing. It usually takes em a second year to get the gears turning.

When you got Russ throwing to you, it's just a tiny bit easier. Who would have thought that Tyler Lockett would be such a gem too. Guy makes catches like this all the time because Russ throws so damn smoothly. This is from last night, insane toe tap.

He won’t fall as much as he would if he played a different position

I mean, the guy was like 95th percentile in speed and 5th in agility too let's not forget that lol. That being said with Lockett opposite his role is the deep guy with the best deep ball thrower in the league. It's a great fit for him and hides his weaknesses. One game sample but look at his routes

basically, just get him to run go, post or corner and nothing else and you got your money's worth.
