Do they want to end qualifying on a high and win? They dominated the qualifying and clearly above the rest? Do they want to make sure Argentina don't qualify and lay down and roll over and lose? Do they want to just draw so everyone wins? xD | ||

There are way too many awful teams in Europe And dont let me start on Concacaf which is like USA and Mexico and thats about it | ||

Now not blaming Pep as it been a while, but Pep teams and there mentality they have under him only work for Pep teams. That mindset with any other manager and you have problems. Maybe they are just hungover from that, like Barca have been the last 2 seasons where they just really just went to pot ? Im sure Jupp will do fine, might not win the league, they will need to do the double over Dortmund for sure and pretty much not drop any more points. Can he still finish 2nd in there champions league group? Probably, any further than that, well they will have tough draws from second spot. | ||

Hungover a bit by Pep's style because it don't work if you haven't got pep managing your side. If Ancelotti didn't train them the way they wanted it to be aka Pep's style, the team is destined to fail isn't it. As they were doing there own training sessions trying to make it like it was before...ala under Pep | ||

Only the last year was a disappointment. They did the double in 2016? how is that going to pot? I get the point you are making though, but I dont think that has anything to do with Peps style so much as player preferences. Its not like Bayern were bad last year. Paraguay did them a massive favour. The other tie that matters for them is Peru Colombia and one of those teams will go out regardless of the result if Argentina wins. Brazil Chile is relatively meaningless in terms of getting knocked out, it is ofcourse relevant as far as Argentina getting an auto qualify spot is concerned. | ||
