I can see him being shown the door as Real are very cut throat! They pretty much have to win 2x classico and vs Atletico Madrid 2x to have a chance of La Liga now. They just extended his contract though

It's so cool, people probably watch a match just to see the stadium from inside.

Yesterday he played with his best squad + Bale who is a must because of his salary. Where I see the problem is Zidane's/Perez's behavior on the transfer market. The "we have great squad and we don't need to make changes" attitude while also selling players will bite them in the ass this season. For some reason, after a transfer ban, Real Madrid actually earned quite a lot of money from transfers... So we are Arsenal now, I guess.

Only real difference between last year and this year so far seems to be that Ramos is not scoring 93rd minute winners right now.

I totally agree that they've been lucky with all the clutch moments going their way, but aside from like, barcelona 2008-2009 type of dominance, most teams have to be somewhat lucky to win the CL. (Normally with a cup format when there are like 3-4 teams of comparable strength and 3-4 teams slightly worse, no team has like, more than 20-25% chance of ending out on top. Coincidences are largely what determine which team this ends up being. )

However everyone ignores how thoroughly mediocre both Real and Ronaldo where most of last season because both turned up Ro16 of CL onwards. He proceeded to wiff that one and then was the only player playing onside when the Betis goal happened.
