Everton losing Lukaku looks to have been a much larger loss to them than perhaps people where expecting. He gave the team so much not just goals.
That stat about Munchen never paying more than 40 million for a player is really impressive if it's true. Makes the English teams look pretty foolish in contrast but it's not a simple comparison.
Arsenals performance was good and they should have won. Not sure what would piss off their fans the most. The fact they didn’t get the result or the fact that they are clearly not a bad squad and can switch it on every now and then. Implies their just lazy and unmotivated rather than not good enough.
Exeter City won again. Still top of the League no motivation problems down in Dazzling Devon.
Pretty sure arsenal fans should be more pissed about the team being happy with a draw, when expectations of champions should be them coming home with a win.

They still haven't made a single 40 million transfer. Tolisso was 41 Million Euro, but your point is still valid Ah yeah, no idea how I filtered the transfer listings to miss that one. Javi Martinez is 40 million euros too, at least according to some calculation.
I guess the point still somewhat stands.

They are 12th in the table, pretty sure the bottom half of the table teams celebrate when they draw away to the champions 0-0 :D

Kroenke is going to kill Arsenal.
We will probably never win the prem again. It's so sad. He's running the club like a business and not like a football club. if any of his other clubs are any indication we're in for a hurting.
Then on top of that you have Arsene. Basically, anyone who's ever commented on Arsene's style talks about how he brought great discipline; innovative training and conditioning techniques; and great man management to Arsenal. Yes, that was good in the early part of his career because at that time it was a differentiator, as all the players were still regularly partying, drinking and smoking. What made Wenger special is no longer special and it's obvious that he's tactically behind the times when it comes to football strategy.
It's going to be tough being an Arsenal fan the next few years.... Fingers crossed both Kroenke and Wenger take a car ride together and end up in an accident.
By the way, I'm saying all this fully acknowledging that Kroenke and Wenger are the reason Arsenal got this far in the first place, however it's time to pass on the torch. Thank you arsene and stan now move over and let some young guns take over.

Sure, he's an asshole. But wtf is that Meppen player doing? Play the ball out if you think it's an injury, don't just leave it dead, but in play. What was the final score. Would be hilarious if that was what Jena needed to turn the game around and won 3-2
E: 2-2. So was an important goal. Quite the dick move... but what a rookie mistake.

Amateur hour from the other team though. Could have kicked the ball out.
Irony is though the guy who scored was wearing a captain band which i'm pretty sure has "fair play" written on it

Köln forgoing protest on the illegal VAR use. I was actually looking forward to find out what official ruling was gonna be.

Play to the whistle as they say!! But yeah not the best "fair play" moment i guess.

Was watching youtube videos of Kante. Man I never imagined myself enjoying 10 minute videos of a player making tackles, especially when most of it are not eye catching sliding tackles.
Kante is too good. He makes tackling looks so easy. His ability to dribble out of trouble and release the ball quickly to his offensive teammates is also very impressive. So glad he is in my team

Manuel Neuer's foot broken again, what a shame.

yeah he is out until january. This is so bad. He's not just a goalkeeper to us, he also keeps the defense together. Everytime he didn't play we played like shit. It was already not the best start to the season, now it'll be even harder. Might cost carlo the job.

Yep. And their squad is deep enough that they're totally fine with waiting for the contract to expire. Yeah but PSG is in a position to do the same thing but they still manage to somehow spend over 500 million so you gotta give credit to Bayern for that. Its not like other teams cant swoop in for those players either. So there is something in the koolaid that makes those players want to go there. Yes, the koolaid being that Bayern are the only world class German club. PSG is not on the same level as Bayern internationally.
The koolaid comment was rhetorical but thank you for spelling it out. Its always nice to have your own comment explained to you.

PSG was a mediocre club that had to spend loads of money to become relevant, just like my team Chelsea. Unlike us though, they don't appear to want to stop spending. Almost like a vanity project for the owners. Moreover after spending so much year on year, they still struggle to achieve anything relevant in Europe and can't even win their own league last season. When they don't have enough success, I guess the way for them is to continue spending.
Refer to above.

Haha, anyone surprised that its Felix Brych who gave the wrong goal for dortmund? not me

Ally Macinally was doing the game on sky sports and he said after 15/20 minutes "if Liverpool don't win this game i'll eat my hat" something on the lines of this because they were playing great football, passing it around very well, creating abundances of chances but not scoring. The rest is "istoreee" as the scouse say xD

Brych konnte den Pfiff in seinem Kölner Studio nicht hören. Die direkte Leitung, über die der Videoassistent mit dem Schiedsrichter in Kontakt steht, filtert die Außengeräusche. Ambient noise is filtered out for the VAR, that does not seem all that smart but he couldn't know there was no goal before the whistle. Does not explain tho how he thought there was enough to overturn the foul.
