My favorite part: The new competition would run parallel to existing international tournaments such as the European Championship, Copa America, and African Nations Cup, plus the World Cup qualifying stages. As much as I wanted to write about how confederations/leagues/clubs will fold as soon as they hear how much money they will get, by whom and when are all those additional games going to be played. | ||

I can't imagine that clubs are happy to hear that their players are going to spend more time away from their teams/ increased chance of injury in games that don't really matter and isn't even the world cup. | ||
