2 reasons actually, Barca and Real. Just saying this because the arguments here seem to go too much in the direction of EPL > la Liga just based on equality. Lets not pretend la Liga is less even because of weaker teams, when it it is mostly due the strength of barca and Real. I dont want a league to be called worse because they have great teams. That said I also think EPl is more entertaining to watch. But they also get more attention because of media coverage, english language etc. I dont know why I said La Liga. I meant to say likelier to win EPL than Atletico is to win la Liga. + Show Spoiler + lol. And even if I did mean to say La Liga, that was still a slight at Arsenal not at La Liga. How are Barca and Real Madrid a good reason that Arsenal would win La liga? I understood it how you meant it. And Arsenal is more likely to win EPL than Atletico is to win la Liga due to Barca and Real being good and lowering Atletico's chances. I was explaining the odds.
And yet, Atletico has done so more times than Arsenal has in the last 15 years :O

I don't think Brazil has completed a single non-illegal throw-in today. Not that it matters. Sloppiest game I've seen in a long time on both sides (that isn't outright chippy).

The Brazil-Germany friendly today is very sloppy.

Well, finally a loss. Good timing though hopefully. To make me feel better, I just have to look at the hope that is once again building up in the english media.

Its a hold then a clear trip. It sucks because he got ball, but as an ex-ref you are going to give that because of the foot-smash like 80% of the time.

I'm not convinced by Argentina power, even without Messi, Spain looks awesome and has so much potential

US beats Paraguay 1 to 0. Weah debuted. Also:

So glad the US went with a park the bus coach to try and qualify for the World Cup.

It was pretty brutal. The ref was fairly poor, and it didn't help that Germany fielded the most fucked up franken-lineup I've seen from us in a long time. Plus what, 5 subs?
I do think that this game put a strong emphasis on who should and shouldn't be relied on. Wagner and Werner make Germany look very dangerous going forward, whereas Gomez was nonexistent aside from being an occasional target man. Sane and Draxler both had atrocious games, although Draxler was in the center, so maybe that threw him off. Goretzka was pretty invisible as well. Gundogan had a really disappointing performance, and Plattenhardt wasn't bad, but definitely didn't make a case for being the man at LB.

How is the French media, and especially the players reacting to the racial abuse they received from Russian fans?

"In reference to an article published by France Football, that repercuted in several places of the world, I come to clarify that at no time I said what was written about me, that Brazil was not favorite to the World Cup title and that Neymar would not be World's Best against Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.
What I have actually said is that the Brazilian team arrives strong for the competition in Russia, and divides favoritism with other teams from Europe and South America, as it has always been.
Besides, I'm Brazilian, I cheer for my national team and those who wear this shirt, and I'll never have anything to say other than praise for them. Neymar is, yes, one of the best players on the Planet and has total conditions to become the Best in the World, against anyone. It's up to him.
I wore the Seleção shirt for 17 years and I had the best moments of my life with her. I would never think that the story we helped to create could be thrown away, as implied/spread by @futpress @entourage_sports"

No creativity, no dribbling, no tactics, no offensive power, no defence. Portugal is looking like just a bunch of players roaming the field.
I wonder how Cristiano Ronaldo feels to not have a single team mate up to his level to make things actually happen... You mean the team mates that beat the only good team they faced in that tournament, and actually played better without him? Ah... I guess he missed Kroos throwing himself in the ground offside for a penalty.

I remember that same 6-1 against Argentina in 2009, and with Messi on the pitch, delivered by Bolivia in WC qualifiers. So, yea...

I feel sorry for US soccer fans that have to listen Alexi Lalas. Heard him commentate a few times and wanted to punch him every time. Honestly American commentators in general seem to be pretty bad.
