It hurts because it is so true.
There is no 2nd best team in Germany. The teams on 2nd-8th place are just all equally bad. Not one of those is close to european top level, or even upper middle class.
Makes it easier to ignore football these days.

Just saying that I don't think having an "easy" league is that big of a problem. It should even allow you to be more flexible regarding tactics since you can try stuff during league games once you're ahead enough.

Perhaps in Paris the PSG president will have some sort of relevance because today his politics were useless and that matters a lot in todays football. Like when Perez bought the spanish league last season. No i mean in general this season, i know he didn't play tonight, it was a bold but good move imo. I said in HIS career Silva imo is over rated, he hasn't achieved anything to note in worthy domestic leagues or with the Brazil national team. He won Serie A with Milan and instantly jumped ship to this PSG side and had it nice and easy. But this is my opinion and i can kinda understand others calling him very good at least.

Winning Confed cup is good? xD Vs Spain who crashed out in group stage Vs Italy who crashed out in group stage Vs Meixco? xD
Could also quite easily say he got carried in that too
English National team is the biggest and best team in the world as we prove all the time :D we very exciting to watch, but i was on about Silva being over rated imo not England being amazing

This just sounds like salt. Who’s at fault? The UEFA ref, Madrid for simulating, Madrid for scoring cheap goals late in the match, PSG for fielding an uneven squad, or all of the above? It's not Madrid's fault for diving, it's the referee for favoring them all the calls even fake ones. Too bad spanish football this season is fixed for Barcelona (because Neymar left) and Madrid resorts to everything given CL is all they have left. As for the late goals, that's also PSG's fault though they were good enough to start leading 1-0 in Madrid.
And what happened with Kurzawa? Thought he was rested in the weekend but then he's not even in the squad today?
|
Winning Confed cup is good? xD Talk once you win it once, or at least qualify. Or at least reach the finals of your continentals? Or semi finals? Or quarters? lol.
Vs Spain who crashed out in group stage They were very good until that RVP equalizer. Plus they had the (next two) Copa America champions/squad in the group. And they did better than you guys in Euro Cup. You guys lost against Iceland, they eliminated Italy.
Vs Italy who crashed out in group stage They are a relevant team with 4 World Cups. Somehow Ibra-less Sweden did good enough this time and they didn't qualify. But they would if they had a group like Portugal's, England's or such.
Vs Meixco? xD Lmao, Mexico is still a more relevant National Team than England. They were close to eliminating Netherlands in the World Cup.

Both Neymar and Mbappe are too arrogant in similar situations Mbappe is a teen who has achieved nothing yet and benched Draxler and Di Maria by a garbage coach.
Neymar in the other hand gets fouled all the time and the only close free-kicks and even pen given are dives for Madrid.
Asension on the other hand Asension on the other hand lost the teens euro cup lmao. Lost to LEGOnes lmao (because this season the referees are for Barca, not for them like the previous season).
But yea, PSG clearly lack of team stamina Team stamina indeed, not only physical.
Veratti looked like he's in a shower with heavy breath He has been that way for a some time already, I think it's because of that number 6 in his back. Perhaps that's the same Kurzawa's problem.
LaLiga also has Sevilla (checks wikipedia) not even 1 Champions League in history. Irrelevant.

And come on now Spain lost terribly, i was at the 2014 world cup watching them get schooled by Chile. Spain had to win. They were short on number of goals and stuff. Chile played for the draw and won on counter-attack. Serves Diego Costa well though, and the coach for taking Xavi out.
It all makes a difference. Like Madrid today who dived and always knew they would get all the calls today as usual (happened against Bayern last year). When conditions favor you, it's something totally difference, doesn't mean the Spain team were weak.
Also you qualified for that competition because you were the HOSTS!
So? Brazil also won when Germany and others hosted it.

Never underestimate Madrid in CL.
Real Madrid 7th Champions League - La Liga 4th Real Madrid 8th Champions League - La Liga 5th Real Madrid 9th Champions League - La Liga 3rd
Real Madrid is now 4th in La Liga (I think they will end 3rd, they will surpass Valencia).
Edit: I don't understand Emery. He quits Cavanni and Di Maria didn't play a second.

I don't disagree with his statement though I don't think it's releva in this case. The penalty was given on the basis that the PSG player pulled Kroos. That was a foul, maybe a soft one but I don't see anywhere in the rule book that says it's okay to put your hand on the shoulder of another player when he gets past you. The intention was to stop Kroos and the action was in violation of the rule book so it's a foul. Kroos could have moved on, dived or sang Copacabana for all I care but it wouldn't change fact that it was a foul and a penalty
|
The only problem with this penalty is that I keep saying the same foul dozens of times in ONE football match and it never gets called for a foul. It is only sometimes a foul when the referee feels like it

Some good teams in action tonight in Europa league, not good matches though but something to watch i guess :D Well i guess Leipzig vs Napoli should be good if Leipzig turn up, but they haven't turned up much in Europe so far. Shorthand?
All be it is 1 characer and 2 spaces longer than the correct albeit
Ontopic:
Copenhagen - Atleti has the potential for an upset
Other than that:
Spartak Moscow - Athletic Bilbao looks like it could be good. Lyon - Villareal might be an upset with how shitty Lyon has been lately.
The rest looks like one-sided stomps or tossups between teams I really don't care about at all.

You think Atletico with Greizman in great form and Costa back could lose to Copenhagen? I think Atletico will walk this competition and that might stutter their challenge for La Liga title if they do though in which being 7 points off Barcelona and having to play them, with also Real Madrid playing Barcelona to come as well could have made that fun.
