will always remember you for the way you were with us fans but somewhere you lost the dressing room it seems and you play players who don't deserve to play right now.

Its freaking painful because it is plain obvious why we are losing. Crap players given chance after chance. Wrong system given chance after chance. But youth not given proper chances at all. Thanks for last season, but even then I disliked you because of how our youth was used, especially ake chalobah and to some extent bats. The signs were there. Have some dignity and leave on your own.

When you play defensive football and stubbornly refuse to change anything despite bad results, you deserve to be turned against. Fans expect to be entertained. If you subject them to defensive play styles, you jolly well make sure the wins are there. Oh and not giving our academy proper opportunities and ridding those from there isn't exactly helping in Conte's cause.

I find that hard to believe, you are telling me if Klopp loses to 0-3 to Bournemouth and 4-1 to Watford while playing attacking football you wouldn't be calling for his sacking? Chelsea fans need to learn to have faith to their manager for once, I've lost count how many times Chelsea sacked their manager in the past years. Roman has created a toxic environment for managers, players feel they have the power to oust anyone when shit goes wrong because they know the manager will be the first to go. Who in the right mind would want to manage Chelsea now?

No one is demanding a sacking for a manager your very delusional if you think all Chelsea fans want that, none of them want it. Chelsea fans singing Antonio's name until the 90th minute last night, we sang Mourinhos name forever. The only one manager we were wanting out from day 1 was fucking Benitez because he is a fucking idiot full of scouse shite. I posted bye bye conte because i know what is coming, he has been bad mouthing the board for weeks and week, then loses 3-0 at home to Bournemouth and 4-1 away to Watford after it. Doesn't bode well does it when your attacking your bosses and the onfield displays are not up to scratch! I hope he gets 7 days to fix it, we don't play again until next monday, tell him he has a week to save his job, to show us we still will make top 4. If not their is plenty of other managers out their who would love to come and manager a top club. In Conte style, i repeat, no one wants him out! Jody Morris, Ryan Bertrand, John Terry, Ake, Van Aanholt, Bruma, Chalobah, Loftus-Cheek, Hutchinson, Christensen, Solanke are just the ones i can name off my head right now who are having very healthy careers (in Hutchinson case he was going to be the next big thing for us but he got very bad knee injuries and lost his career ) and they have all come from our academy or been in it for a solid period of time.

Sure, but the argument had nothing to do with academy players themselves. it wast the absence of a culture that grooms them and brings them into the first time. There is no secret that you literally farmed out an entire clubs worth of players in Holland and barely used any of them. And thats just the start. Personally I dont believe that it matters whether you promote players from an academy or not as much as it used to. But again thats not the point they are discussing.

@Pande: you're right. Chelsea is by far the most awesomest bestest and amazingest team out there, and their academy is the guilding light that will lead the way to a glorious football future! @everybody else: just smile and nod.

Our average age has declined by a full year this season compared to last year, that isn't because we signed 12 year olds is it xD Our way of grooming young players is you make them dominate Europe and domestic Youth tournaments, get them out to a club to gain first time experience from La Liga/Bundesliga/Championship/Premiership then they come back when they are ready to compete. Just because we don't want to wait 3 years of them playing less than 20 games before they are ready doesn't mean it isn't working our way does it. Barcelona don't even do this anymore, they loan them out and sometimes even sell them with buyback clauses and they were the best at "bringing through youths".

There is a difference between getting into a squad and some appearances and becoming a first team regular. And in Bertrands case being surplus to requirement. And fuck if I know how Jody Morris is. And I'll take a gander that includes 80% of the people here if not more. You presented a long winded explanation of the system. We do this, then we do this, then we do this. NOW PLAYER IS READY! Except hes clearly not because after a little bit of first team squad action they become a footnote in Chelsea history. The bottom line of the arguments presented by Duck or Evilfat is that way of grooming has not created first team regulars so clearly there was no culture of doing at it any point since this club has become successful in the modern sense Whatever Barcelona or Lililput FC or "X team please refer.." does is irrelevant. They are not the point of discussion. Barcelona doing whatever is a Barcelona thing. No one asked what Chelseas methods were. You confuse the issue with all this rambling Here is a repeat of the issue below followed by a summary of how you reacted to it. X person says. Our young players are not being given a fair go in the first team. Y Person says, well your club doesnt really have a history of consistently given young players a fair go anyway, so why complain now. This is how your team has always done it Pande says, "YAHAN WE GOT YOUNG PLAYERS LOOK AT THESE GUYS, WE SENT THEM TO EUROPE AND EVERYTHING, OUR YOUTH TEAM WINS CL AND EVERYTHING AND RYAN BERTRAND WON THE CL + Show Spoiler + (forgetting for a moment that the CL win itself papered over what was an extrememly flawed and shit team otherwise) AND DONT YOU FORGET JODY MORRIS AND LOFTUS CHEEK. JUST COZ THEY NOT LEGENDS + Show Spoiler + (farcical, you can be a servicable first team or squad player that doesnt get traded away or fall into obscurity) You see the disconnect here? You are addressing things no one cares about or is even arguing.
