We had 4 shots cleared off the line, if we were vs real madrid that would have meant 4 players sent off! We did ok, 28 shots couldn't score that aint on the manager. We just need Musonda to bring on but he is always injured, worst than Bale it seems xD no one else attacking to bring on, he did what he could. Zappa came on to help and he shat the bed on few crosses but was hardly a bad performance, just unlucky. On December 24 2017 00:04 sharkie wrote: From what I read real wasnt playing badly though? The players are more to blame than the manager Naa Real were ok first half, but they never threatened in first half offensively, was more they did a job per se on Barca as they could not keep the ball and was just a cancelling eachother out first half. Then second half it all went wrong from the counter. Players out of position for that and then he just makes subs way to late and the wrong ones.

When we were shit at the start of last season, he was brave and decisive to change into a radical new system. This season (and late last season) it has been shown that our system has been figured out. We are still ultra reliant on hazard, as though that's our only form of offence. When hazard can't find a solution, Chelsea has no solution. We have no players to bring on because recruitment was poor. We're fighting on 4 fronts this season and our squad depth is poor. Kante injury alone exposed us so much. Morata's absence and we have no replacement for him except a hazard false nine. Can you imagine if what would happen of we lose Alonso and hazard to injuries too? Side note, if we're gonna dump Costa, at least replace him with a different kind of player, rather than one with similar attributes but clearly inferior. Even if I absolve conte the blame for transfer failures, he is at full fault that we have no youngsters to spark us. That's conte fault because his idea of blooding youth is keeping them on the bench when we're comfortably 3-0 up or sending them on for 5 min cameos. One successful Christensen does not erase the fact that there were failed ake, chalobah and most likely zouma kenedy musonda and rlc. I'm tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. The current system does not give me long term confidence. It looks like we're repeating the same strategy despite it proven to be unreliable. Unless conte changes something, my conclusion is that this stubborn guy needs to go.

This game is nothing to do with Conte at all. He has done more than fine you can't blame him that is just very wrong. From what he has done for us and from what he does, he is fine. 3-5-2 / 3-4-3 / 4-2-4 is what we play, he has played pedro wing back to change things when trying to win as well. He is so far away from "running out of ideas" we just went away from home in premier league and conecded 0 shots! That is madness and had nearly 30!

Also even with our distaerous start normally we would be 4-5 points off top spot not a million miles behind. They didnt play badly or anything. The Chelsea squad does lack depth upfront though. Coz Bats is really fucking bad.

Why can't fans just be patient it's not even half the season.

I guess Real is quite used to 10 men formations anyway though, because Ramos gets the red every other game anyway.

The best case is that Barca miss that penalty, which leaves Real down a goal at 10 men. Is it that much better than being down 2, but having all your 11 players available? I guess Real is quite used to 10 men formations anyway though, because Ramos gets the red every other game anyway. Depends on the time on the clock. 30 mins to play 10v11 or down 2 instead of 1 is probably worth it. Real had plenty of chances in the last 15 minutes. Most fun thing would have been if played advantage and still gave red after goal, but I don't think ref is allowed to do that.

Yeah, at some point I could see myself liking that man down vs two goals down tradeoff. However, I don't think I'd take it if the condition is that Messi misses a penalty. The odds of being two goals down AND a man down are damn high.

Well my rant wasn't so much on the unfortunate draw against Everton. I just don't agree with what Conte has done or is doing, and don't believe he will do well enough to have a legacy here. Last season when we were comfortably title winners, he barely rotated or gave our youth a proper chance. Add all his talk about the potential of our youth but very little action in blooding them, I think that's when he really started pissing me. Ake was playing good regular football at Bournemouth only to be recalled to warm the bench?? Style and tactics wise I would prefer if we finally have a manager that's more offensive minded. I'm generally ok with his 3-5-2 or 3-4-3, but I can't help but feel these days the team is over reliant on one Hazard. Then there are those days when I can't comprehend him Matic/Baka instead of Fab in the middle with Kante against weaker oppositions, any the countless times we get bitten for it. But hey I can look past everything if he can just show some commitment and evidence of giving our youth a chance.

Guy is scoring goals in Europe and alot doemstically and Brighton going to get him, very very good signing. Solhelol haven't got anything right in over 2 years, he is like whole sky source on par with than the sun or metro, while BBC is like the only English media outlet that seems to have actual sources, and doesn't just report complete nonsense.
