That sound like a bad idea.

But its amazing that people think Rooney is such a big chunk of United being so stale. Sure hes not playing well, but hes not playing poorly either. Aside from Ibra in general the lack of teeth in the offensive play. I think the problem is Mou is having a hard time getting players to do what he wants to do. Its not that they dont want to do it, but guys like Luke Shaw for example arent jobbers, they are more instinctual players with a penchant for flair, and that doesnt fit well with how Mou likes to set teams up. That causes a contradiction in how half the team wants to play. He does use those players but there is limited slots available for that kind of footy. Thats basically the puzzle he needs to solve. I think he will, but probably to late to be significant title wise this season.

That sound like a bad idea. technically no, but the manager decides on whether they want the player or not so.... if it was fergie rooney would have been out the door a long time ago (probably due to a 3rd transfer request) and for me the players being unable to do what mou wants is mainly because our midfield is incompetent. you cant expect the players to perform their individual tasks when our midfield gets overrun by the likes of watford. the ball hardly ever gets in the box because were always losing possession in midfield or theres just not enough movement to break anything down. we have rooney who cant run with pace on counters, cant hold up balls and has a habit of making sideways or backwards passes to the wings. we have fellaini whos good at breaking up attacks and being annoying but hes no pirlo or scholes when we're in possession. its basically pogba alone who has to carry the ball from deep all the way to ibra or rashford and like we saw in the last 3 games, teams just 2-3man mark him and pogba has no where to go. replace rooney with herrera/schneiderlin and we have more movement and support for pogba.

Basti is 32 and washed up injury prone and the other is 23 and the future of the game! The biggest problem here with Basti is i lost all respect for him when HE (himself!) choose to sit in Yanited reserves due to his wages are that good and not leave the club to find first team football. He clearly cba with football anymore and don't care. Yanited players also took digs at him in the press saying he is to interesting in watching Ana Ivanovic play tennis than to train to get match fit.

Maybe a little early to call them title favorites? Who else would be a title favorite? ManU are going to be shit like usual. They might be able to get more points than they deserve but it will not be enough. Arsenal and Tottenham are incapable of winning anything, they will always have a shit period that ruins things. Chelsea has too many point losing flaws and will be unable to be as solid as they need to be. Leichester won't even get close to defending the title. And none of the dark horses are dark enough to grab the title i think. City has the best team and the best manager.

Can't imagine Mourinho gets sacked, I don't think it's even his fault so much as he just doesn't have the right players. None of his possible centre midfield pairs look good enough, Schneiderlin/Fellaini/Carrick/Rooney/Pogba all pretty meh at CM at this point. Needs to buy two midfielders in the summer imo, a top CDM and a top passer.
