if the arguable second or so best team in the world can't crack within 40 points of the number one its going to be real ugly. gasol brothers were the only thing competative against the usa and now that they're old/injured nothings stopping the march until china catches up. | ||

That was women basketball score (103-63). Spain played against Croatia last night and lost 72-70. New generation of players is coming along nicely in Croatia. (Hezonja was 5th draft pick last year, this year we had Bender as 4th, Šarić was 12th 3 years ago, and he is coming to Philly this year). In a couple of years we might start wining medals again. | ||

China needs home-grown junior/youth leagues of the same scale like what America has if they want to be competitive in basketball | ||
