More importantly, the dutch cyclist is out of (or has never been in) critical condition according to UCI.

edit: Awesome, 4th fastest of the 32 swimmers, only behind the 3 anchors of the medalists.

Really great swims in general so far. Hosszu and Ledecky really highlights so far, with Sjöström and Peaty not far behind. They're all so dominant in their respective best races, incredible to watch.

Comparatively short legs and a disproportionately huge torso + long arms, giving him a better position in the water. Bigger than average feet, tall in general, and a natural feeling for technique. Naturally good at underwater work. Foremost, though, never-say-die work ethic. He's really just the perfect storm of desirable traits wrapped in the best swimming environment in the world.

Phelps' underwater kick in the second 50 beastly as expected. Was hoping to see another WR, but the 2008 team was probably about as good as a team could ever be. Really great swims in general so far. All thanks to Jason Lezak on the last split. One second faster than the WR for 100m freestyle for his split. One of the nicest swimming races of all time.
