You have posted a ton of stupid shit in your time but this is up there with you calling Richard Jefferson one of the most important free agents and 22nd most import cav. Cerrone is a contender now, one fight away. Pettis was a contender before he lost. 95% or more people want to watch exciting fights. The card delivered you seem only capable of throwing shade and talking shit but if you watched the card and are disappointed you need to find a new hobby, it doesn't get any better then last night. Pettis is not a featherweight contender; he is not even a featherweight. Pettis is a lightweight on a losing streak. Cerrone beat a guy with concussion issues who is 1-4 in his last 5 fights and is a replacement fighter. it was entertaining however, incomparable with the previous co-main of Woodley//Thompson in the previous PPV. the PPV buy rate will reflect the reality. ticket prices fell like a rock and Dana and other UFC employees were giving away tickets by the hundreds. The house was majorly papered. the original ticket prices were $100 USD to $750 USD. The final gate and attendance showed the average person paid $100 USD for their ticket. the marketplace spoke loud and clear. people were willing to pay Fight Night prices for a Fight Night card. i'm 100% happy with the event and it was well worth the $0 i paid for my ticket ; i would've gladly paid up to $200 for my tickets but i'm glad i got it for free. i am talking zero shit. i am stating facts.

Helwani made a pretty big deal about Anthony Pettis not seeing a DR at the event to confirm his hand was broken. Pettis shows his hand to Rogan like a Magician shows us the lady before he saws her in half. Then no independent medical source examines Pettis' hand. FUrther, Pettis claims he "coincidentally" broke his hand on the very first punch.... ya ok Anthony. Can I get in on that Pyramid Scheme u r running in Milwaukee Anthony.? i'm skeptical about Pettis' honesty level due to this thing he is running here: http://workwithpettis.com/why-network-marketing/ I think Pettis hand was damaged before the fight began. They taped it up hoping he could deal with it and the damaged hand couldn't even withstand 1 punch. I think if an independent DR got a look at Anthony's hand he might say it has been injured for more than 30 minutes. To avoid all that Pettis doesn't let any medical person look at it and quickly leaves town. Gotta give props to Helwani for really running down the non-confirmation of Pettis hand being broken.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-12-02/goldman-said-to-get-second-fed-slapdown-on-ufc-loan-after-appeal interesting article by Dave Meltzer. http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/12/16/13964522/the-ufcs-battle-between-sport-entertainment-and-business by putting Holly Holm against an 11th ranked bantamweight they are literally handing her the 145 lb title on a silver platter. this is even more bullshit than the fake belt they gave Holloway. more, and more UFC decisions will be dictated by paying the rent on the $1.8 billion WME-IMG borrowed to buy the UFC.

Fortunately, the marketplace dictated the prices of the tickets and fans like me who waited for the prices to fall got full value for UFC 206. The guys i had to apologize to sitting near me.. i'm not so sure they were very happy. regarding the 145 women's title fight i agree with Meltzer. "On Feb. 11, the UFC will add yet another championship, as Holly Holm faces Germaine de Randamie for a women's title at 145 pounds. Holm was a champion at 135, but is coming off losing two straight fights at a lighter weight class. De Randamie was ranked No. 11 in a lighter weight division, and now is in a title match at a weight she has only fought in twice during her career, the most recent of which was more than four years ago. When it comes to sports, this specific match makes no sense as a title fight, even though adding it as a weight class does, as would adding a ton of new weight classes. Except there is the inherent long-term impact where it will kill the value of titles and title fights in time." Caveat Emptor.
