I thought that at the start but actually West Ham is not that strong at home lol. I remember they lost quite a few matches there, including the recent 1-4 defeat to Swansea.

Media, internet, fans did not over rate him. Management/coaches clearly did or why is he at Real Madrid? Why did Ancelotti play him most games etc.

Because there were not any other right back. He stopped playing when Carvajal came to Real Madrid.

He was played the same amount of times as Ramos in 2012-13 season then Ancelotti didn't play him as much, 4 times next season and 35 times then in Ancelotti final season (2014-15) so he was playing!
I remember many times moaning in champs league thread when i saw him on the pitch!

Yeah, that last year with Ancelotti was strange, after he had already played less previous year. But he seems to be loved by coaches. Mourinho wrote this letter in marca last week:
+ Show Spoiler +Arbeloa is not just a player for me, he is a friend. How does a player turn into a friend? By being an example of passion for his profession, for love of his club, for his dedication to the group and its objectives, for his honor with relation to those with whom he works day to day.
In the history of our great club, there are and will be many of the world’s greatest players. Arbeloa may not have that accolade, but he is surely one of those who has given Real Madrid, his fans, his coaches and his teammates everything he had, and everything he didn’t.
For Arbeloa, I only have my words of gratitude. In my 16 years as a coach I have him in my podium of the most important players of whom I have worked with. A good player and an exceptional man.
Anyway, guy was quite lucky. He had 4 years as the only right back of the team.

As a result Granada are now saved from relegation. Nothing suspicious about that ! Granada's last game was against Barca, as you can imagine their chances were not that high... Now they have nothing to play in the last round, so gratz to Barca. I hope that Sevilla loses in LE final... Matchfixing trash. It wouldn't be the first time a team that has nothing to lose, actually manages an upset on the last game of the league. And then people will start talking about briefcases like that even made sense.
If you don't think Barça/RM have paid and will keep paying like Florentino will do with Granada you are way beyond naive lol.
I mean if the guy was somewhat honest or fair I would have some thoughts about it. But he is the president of the company behind the Castor Platform scandal ffs. Paying/promising money to Granada for winning isn't even against the rules. Compare the value per € spent with the price of most player signings... He will do it 100% and it will be money well spent.

Even if ManU gets to 4th, they are still not guaranteed into CL. If City and Liverpool win their finals, then ManU would get sent straight to EL, even if they manage to get 4th. But I would prefer ManU get to 4th, and City lose their final.. Then we see Pep in EL :D

Which final City can win?

Well I hope West Ham does us a favour since they have nothing to play for anymore :D
Anyway I'm torn between what would happen if United get top 4. If they do get top 4, it would mean LVG most likely stays another year and we have to deal with his crap football for another year or;
United don't make top 4, which seems to be the more likely case seeing how crappy we are, but then would more likely mean a change of manager but no CL next year.
