i heard the terms of the pre contract say that if mourinho isnt signed in by june 1 he is to be compensated over 20m (forgot the currency)

ESPN says A clause reportedly inserted in his agreement says that United will pay Mourinho £5m if they do not appoint him before May 1, and a further £10m if they don't before June 1.

So Woodward, much genius. Maybe its time to cheer on Newton Hearth more seriously or even Salford Utd...

might be because the board wants to give LVG more time but mou is threatening to sign with another team. Fergie believes in patience but times are different now, the cost of missing a season of CL is tremendous for a big club like Man Utd that's also a publicly traded company.

the source i heard the news from also stated that the reason why man utd arent signing mou is because saf and sir bobby charlton are against having mou as manager.
i wholeheartedly agree though. why would you want to sign lvg to lay a foundation for the club and then sign the exact opposite in a guy who destroys clubs by the time hes done

either keep lvg until someone else does become available or give giggsy a go. i dont care what people say about managerial experience and shit, i know first hand that some people are natural leaders and giggs practically grew up under saf. if he didnt pick up a thing or two then hes as dumb as a brick.
if youre gonna demolish the club by giving it to mou, might as well give it to giggs. worst care scenario the club will end up like whats gonna happen at the end of mou's tenure anyway
