Why else would Tuchel never go for the win?
Give me one logical reason

We were horrible in the 2nd half but everybody who thought we could make it a title race must have taken some nice pills. Bayern is incredibly dominant and they'll make you pay for every misstep 99 out of 100 times.
I understand that Tuchel didn't make any changes. There was so much pressure and he might've been worried that Bayern could use the first moment after a sub. Was it the right decision when you want to compete with Bayern? No. Was it the right decision at your home game? No. Was it the best decision seeing that the team had no spirit/power/skill/whatever left? Possibly.
We needed alot of things and subs might've been one of these but when you have a player like Reus who's great against 16 Bundesliga clubs but whenever you play the best team or an elimination match he disappears it's hard to blame Tuchel for everything.

Haha Newcastle lose again :D

Again, what is there to fear? what is there to lose? Dortmund have a 99% secured 2nd place, a loss or a draw is practically the same for BVB. Risk could have gotten a win though which would have been worth the league maybe.
I'd understand such a position if Bayern was only 2 points away or third place 6 points away. But Dortmund is so safe for 2nd place.

I agree with you on the spirit of the thing, but if what others are saying about the bench, it's hard to blame Tuchel. I thought Kagawa could have played, but apparently he wasn't even on the bench. And Ramos for Reus didn't improve the team at all. So who do they have on the bench who might have made the difference against this Bayern?

Theres another team in the field and it plays... And im not sure you can say that after the first half, it was a rollercoaster

You know. This 2 month period was supposed to break Leicesters season. The teams they have left to play they can bag enough points to do this. Especially since everyone else is shitting the bed. I've been skeptical even now, but Im starting to believe.

Lets take it a step further! Leicester, Tottenham and West Ham to represent England in the Champions league and somehow defend against the Italian onslaught in the five year ranking :D

ye it was he was already out of the game.. Sanches from Benfica did like 20 fouls and when Adrien saw him not even recieve a yellow for one that should have been a red.. he insulted the referee and got red card lol xD
wtv we lost cause we missed to many in front of goal it was ridiculous...

I only saw last 30 minutes and missed bits here and there, but that foul that caused your bench to go nuts was an obvious red.
This miss seems to be a perfect description of this match, just brutal

ESPN should do a 30 for 30 documentary on Jorge Jesus' press conferences. I wish non-Portuguese speakers could understand it, they are delicious.

It all depends on what happens to Leicester. If Mahrez leaves and they don't invest much in the squad I think they will disappear. However, you get $50 mil for winning the PL I believe...then you get money for being in the group stage of the champions league. Leicester could make a sizeable investment and get some depth and another impact player or two and do fine. Next year could be crazy if that happens as well. I think you will get Chelsea, Man U, City, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Leicester all competing for top 4 and possibly Liverpool if Klopp can make an impact over the summer. Definitely the most interesting the PL has been in quite awhile IMO.
Of course, Leicester won't be signing Pogba's or players like that, but I don't think they need to. They get players that are as good as starters on a lot of the round of 16 champions league teams though like PSV, Gent, Dynamo, Zenit. Players on many of those teams wouldn't mind having champions league and premier league futbol I'd think.

That happened to Atletico. Before Simeone they had huge debts and had to sell players all the time. Then, with the money of winning la liga, the champions league runner-up money, and next year ro8 money they paid their debts, kept most of their key players except DIego Costa (Koke, Godin, Juanfran, etc.) and they wasted quite money in summer transfer (Oblak, Griezman, etc). They improved their "global name" and attrackted a chinese company that invested in the team last year too.
The team was one of teams with more debt in the league and now they are financially doing great.

If Leicester city becomes an EPL powerhouse it stirs up the pot though, with 6 teams instead of the previous 4.
