Hertha only won 1 single game in 2016 and still remain in 3rd with a 3 point lead.^^ And who is that Marcus Rashford guy at ManU? Where did he come from?^^

We had some a couple of years ago ( well not really good but at least decent), the last really good teams are wayyyy back i believe. Next year there will be RB Leipzig, which is literally Red Bull taking a shitty club, throwing moeny at it and hoping it works. Edit: Obviously Berlin right now but thats about it atm

Edit: Obviously Berlin right now but thats about it atm Hertha BSC is from West Berlin (Union Berlin is from the East). At the moment there is not a single team from former East Germany in the 1. league. So no, there arent any good team from the east. In the past I can remember that some teams from the east played in 1. Bundesliga, for example Energie Cottbus but none of them was ever a serious contender. In the future of course RB Leipzig will be.

Even in the 2nd league is only Union Berlin, not really anyone else. Some teams like Cottbus, as mentioned, or Rostock/Dresden have been in the first or second league but were never close to winning in recent times. Its always a western team, since the league was formed in 1963 it has only been teams from the west. The last eastern team to win the league before it was called Bundesliga was Dresden in 1944.

Pretty sure it hasn't even been 30 years since the Soviet era?

After the German reunification the football clubs in former East Germany completly went down because all the good players left to play in the west. Also I guess football in West Germany was already more professional. East German teams never recovered from that. Before that, East German Clubs did pretty decent in Europe sometimes. Like I said theres no club from former East in the 1. Bundesliga and only like 2 in 2. Bundesliga. There are lots of eastern teams in the 3. Bundesliga though.

+ Show Spoiler + Also sneaky: Busquets totally shoves the Sevilla guy (Krohn-Delhi) at the end of the wall the kick is going over out of the way (though I don't think he's reaching it with a jump anyway).

Europa league tie But yes it is great, it is also another reason for us English/premier league clubs to realize what we have in the youth systems are actually useful! Rashford another player in a long list who has made successful debuts when needed in big clubs this season, it can be done and needs more of it!
