I never freeze chicken after cooking it, so I usually only prepare for a couple days in advanced. You can use dry seasonings to make chicken taste better, I find that spicy seasonings typically keep flavor better through reheating. Cooking it properly also is very important, since overcooking it will make it taste like rubber, especially so when you reheat it.
fuck chicken, eat meat. Soy sauce is posion, avoid it at all cost.
Soy sauce is fermented and not really detrimental. You just want to avoid processed soy like soy milk and soy protein substituting for other things. No problems with soy sauce if that makes your chicken edible for you.
Seems like we should add the article to the stickies? :D
On that note, more dry chicken with brown rice today. Just awful. Gonna try adding peanuts/veggies and some kind of sauce next week, cause this isn't working.
What's a good, low-cal, low-carb sauce that goes with chicken and rice?
if you're looking for asian hot sauces, the following all go great with meat+rice.
sriracha is excellent. lee kum kee garlic chili sauce is also really good (less spicy than sriracha, more garlic and saltiness, but more expensive).
some sort of fermented black bean paste-based chili sauce is absolutely delicious, but might be more of an acquired taste than the other two. this one is probably the most popular black bean chili sauce in asia. the iconic 'old dry mom' (literally what it's called lol) black bean chili sauce. i think the spiciness kind of overpowers the black bean flavor, but good if you like it hot.
That don't look like the kind of spice you'd find in a swedish corner store, but definitely on the right track. I know this exotic spice store a couple blocks away now that I think about it, they might have something similar.
black bean sauce tend to smell rather off-putting to westerners. i love garlic chilli sauce. you can try oyster sauce too, it's really salty though, so use sparingly.
haha, also i think the real meaning for "old dry mother" is actually "godmother"
First Saturday in like half a year where I did no squatting. Felt a bit empty. Did a lot of foam roll, and some stiff leg deads @ 140kg, 2x6. Will probably skip squats on Tuesday too, will see how the knees feel.
That "random russian" is one of the former (and possibly currently) top 105kg weightlifters in the world lol. He's very active on social media, touring the world doing weightlifting seminars, etc.
Guys, I've had recurring headaches in my right temple for a week straight. Started with just once a day, then twice, now I wake up with it. I went to a doctor and she told me to relax and come back if it was still there next week.
One of the possible reasons she gave for it was the gym, that I somehow tweaked my neck and maybe that was causing it. Has anyone here gotten a longterm headache from a stiff neck?

This might be applicable:
Whenever I have neck pain / headache I've just used the lacrosse ball all down my back and my traps and it helps. I've also done the hand behind the back/turning the neck stretch which is nice. I'd guess the fact your headache is only one side means something is out of whack in your neck but I'm just speculating here.
Meet results from this weekend: Snatch 98/102/108 and CJ 125/130/132. Was only hoping to total around 220-230 so I was happy to hit 242kg (2kg higher than my first meet total ever lol :p)
PR'd my press for 1x5 @ 175lbs today. Was supposed to hit 3x5 but i'm too wrecked from the weekend/lack of sleep so just did some more volume at lighter weight and i'll go for 3x5 later.
