So I used these things called Hang Ups yesterday that basically just strap on to your legs and have hooks for you to hang upside down on a pull up bar from. Felt pretty good, back popped and loosened up and what not. Then as soon as I got down my back was super weak and felt really weird (not quite painful tho) and I basically just had to lie on the floor for ten minutes. Woke up today and was pretty sore especially on my left side (my bad SI joint). Warmed up at the gym and felt pretty good. By the time I finished and did some stretching/lax ball rolling it felt amazing. I can't get my back to pop like I usually can which I'm hoping means I've finally got my SI joint in place and released like six years of tension from it.

Started my first squat cycle this week in like a year and half. Made it through rugby season without injury and ready for some gaaaains.

Yep that's it. SI feels great this morning. Got heavy sets of 8 for squats today, we'll see how I'm feeling after that.

i wonder if you could just hang by behind your knees over a bar to get that effect
happy birthday Philozovic i just bought a "lower end" guitar for £400 so £1000 for a long-term gym equipment doesn't sound too crazy!
also i'm rich now so it doesn't sound crazy unless you're poor in which case it sounds crazy lol...
literally i saved up in 1 month what it used to take me 1 year to save ....people are paid way too much in this world

So I went to do a 5k with a friend runner. I decided we should go at our usual speed for this one, so I can get an idea of what is a really good runner.
The dude left me on the ground so fast lol. I was pretty happy with my 26min but the dude did it in less than 20 haha.
Still I'm really happy with my progression, my goal is to do a 10 miles run in 1h20 by march, I put the bar high but I think i can do it if I keep going.

Well I gratuated 6 months ago so not rich but I could afford it, still it was weird to spend 3 months of what I used to live with.

Holy shitballs I felt great today. Did sets of 8 225 to 355, no pain and felt rock solid driving out of the hole. Sets of 10 on monday were somewhat painful and much less steady. Did the hang ups again today at the end and nothing like last time, think i really did get my SI to set on tuesday with it.

Nah, being able to relax completely is pretty important. Too many muscles engaged if you did that.

What do you mean? Are you counting the running as a calorie deficit and then eating more and calling it even? Because that's not how it works.

i've been lifting less and running more and eating the same so I might even be cutting down the deficit. I just look thinner than when I did very little cardio. Also lighter cuz of muscle loss probably. Thinner as in less bodyfat, obviously thinner overall cuz less lifting.
