Huh that sucks, our athletes that compete do their own training. I love doing my own programming =D.

Plus we've found that stronger athletes in general eventually become the best athletes at everyting (strength not as in max deadlift, but max squat/clean/snatch/dip/weighted pull up, etc: overall strength).



Nice. There is an amazing free cf programming at competitors training.com have u seen that? The cool thing is besides the beautiful programming a lot of the crossfit games athletes use it and post results in comments so u can see where u at.

They'll probably want things like a fasted glucose level which bcaas will screw with, take them after your bloodwork.

My bench is still so terrible compared to my other 2 lifts. I hit 100kg paused a few weeks back, but I can't even hit 105 tng. Anybody have any recommendations on what to do for my upper body and bench?

Bench with longer pauses, military press and weighted dips.

My best bench was 165kg at u83 in competition and 172,5kg in training.

Use the following split: Bench (doubles and triples with 3-5s pause)/MP+Weighted dips/off/Bench (doubles and triples with 3-5s pause)/MP+Weighted dips/off/off

On off days do pull ups and rows to keep the shoulder balanced.

Only way I ever really got better at bench was bulking up to 240. Hit a bench of 365 when I was really heavy. Feels like an injury waiting to happen though. Now that I'm lighter, ~210, I can't bench nearly as much, but don't really care.

So two things:

One the more concerning note, I'm getting some soreness on the inner part of my left knee when I do deadlifts. It's near the head of the quad but it felt like tendonitis the first time. Second time was lesser so it's just a dull ache. Not a big issue now, but I fear in the future.

Secondly. I've been doing bent over dumbbell rows and my left and right sides behave quite differently. My right side, which is obviously stronger since I am right handed, is way faster and it feels like the whole side of the body is pulling. My left side, however, just feels like only the primary back muscle is pulling and it's much slower. Should I be concerned?

I've long suspected that the non-dominant side develops primary muscles better because the assisting muscles are weaker and so the primary muscle has to take the brunt of the load.

It's kind of a weird exercise because, while it does have applications when you want to push something, realistically it's going to come down to your legs. You couldn't stay in an upright position and deliver that many newtons.

Anyone has any tips on how to deal with the usage of drugs? I don't often do it but I went pretty crazy this tuesday and wednesday (kings birthday is a national holiday here). Do you simply consider it a lost week and start with the same weight the next week or are there ways to lessen the impact?

Depends. Certainly wouldn't consider it a lost week, you should be plenty fine by tomorrow.

Xtc with a pill. The issue is not just the drug itself but also tjat Ive been sleeping like shit due to work yesterday and anxiety tonight. Anyway thx I'll just see how it goes.
