Who the fuck decides it's a good idea to waste money to bring someone who'll ruin everyone's experience. I was just wondering if maybe it's fake. I've heard it multiple times, exact same level. "COME ON SILVA" and then "LETS GO DIAZ!" as well. edit: nope, just a loud bitch -_-

Yeah I admit that was my heart not my head. I don't think it was 50-45 though.

Diaz definitely put more ring pressure, but it didn't translate to effective striking. I still dunno why he's fucking trying to fight at range vs Silva.

Diaz was definitely putting ring pressure, he was always posturing in center of the ring, but he simply didn't land the strikes he needed. He also did a poor job of cutting off the ring against Silva, he just let Silva walk around him too many times.

He has never sounded like he's had much interest in getting the belt back. Even before losing it he spoke of how his time was pretty much done. That little post fight speech really felt like the lead up to a good bye :o

Nick might be a stubborn ass standing up with him the whole time but it speaks a lot of him to be able to stand and strike with him like that. Very impressive. Honestly thought the dude was nuts for taking this fight but he pulled it off. Nick vs Lawler pls.

Either delusional or just flat out lying I can't really tell. Not Silva's best perormance but I mean he is almost 40 and just had a year off doing rehab and shit. Still pretty convincing win imo. IMO Diaz was advancing forward enough that he felt that he was landing enough significant strikes, as such that he felt that he was winning. Clear Silva win from outside the cage, but I could definitely see why Diaz felt that he was in control of that fight.

Advancing gives you no points, nor does it count for anything. Its not even considered ring control if you cant pin your opponents movement. He barely landed anything aside from leg kicks and a few wild scrum shots. But I see what your saying I guess. I blame his corner, they kept telling him he was in it. I would maybe give Diaz 4 because of 2-3 scrums that he landed some hooks. But I dont think he hit him cleanly outside of the scrum at all, to the head anyway.
