Ye well doesnt matter how good they do in the Youth teams if they just end up never playing in the Main Squad and ruining their careers :p And don't worry about the future of the Portuguese national team Sporting got that covered :p | ||

We have Pizzi, Candeias, Nelson Oliveira, Ivan Cavaleiro, Ruben Amorim, André Almeida, Sílvio, João Cancelo, and Bernardo Silva on the roster for next year. Maybe Silvio could be a starter on a good national team and I don't know how the last two will fare. André Almeida started on the national team already, but he's just average. Nothing very exciting. | ||

You realize with the premier league and English players,they are needed to comply with rules for squad numbers both in premiership and in European competitions. Players like Shaw who have the potential to be "good enough" to play in Man Utd for years and years is worth his weight in gold due to being a shoe in for the rules. Also like in Germany their are traditions at certain clubs where Man Utd has always had a strong presence of English players thus makes it even more of a good buy. Inflation is everywhere and not just in the premier league anyway. If club A wants player B and club A are willing to get him at any cost then Club C who owns Player B they are going to hold out for a price they want. We are not in the days of £10million buys you a top striker anymore, we are in the days of buy out clauses are a minimum of €30million and head up to the dizzy heights of €60+ Suarez has a €60/70million release clause. A guy sporting just signed from SCOTLAND who is SCOTTISH now has a €60million release clause >.< Like someone tell me how Luiz is worth €50million. In what planet is a CB who cannot defend better than a Gary Cahill or even Pique for that matter worth that much. It is because the club have the money and Chelsea weren't interested in selling until they made it an offer you cannot refuse. | ||

A guy sporting just signed from SCOTLAND who is SCOTTISH now has a €60million release clause >.< Sporting signs everyone to a €60 million release clause. They signed an unknown Japanese guy with a €60M release clause too. They also have a random 21yo Cameroonian dude at the B team with a €60 million release clause. It's part of the megalomaniac/self-delusional ethos their president wants to institute at the club. EDIT: You know what's NOT inflated? €25M for Matic, €25M for Markovic and €6M for Garay (wtffffff). | ||

The rest im not sure about xD And oo yeah i saw their signings of the Japanese one and the guy from Istanbul B or something haha. He did, but did you see Luiz's freekicks for Chelsea this season? He must of had around 30 in the same or CLOSER area than the one he scored yesterday and put it into Row Z of the stadium EVERY time. He couldn't hit the target all season with freekicks and shots, then he finally did one for Brazil | ||
